Senators chase down Secret Service Director at RNC

I had to go look this up last night and I found out that it was January 17, 2023, the time that I wrote an article and, had it published, that said, Joe Biden would not be the nominee for the Democratic Party in 2024.

. That was a year and a half ago. Right now, the Democrats have finally caught up to me and to you. And the pressure is fully on Joe Biden. And if you haven't heard, by the way, he has COVID.

He announced that yesterday and he's off the campaign trail, maybe for good. I'm Booker Scott, and this is the Truth. Be Told on America Out Loud talk radio. Thank you for joining us here. It is the last night of the RNC convention.

Donald Trump, he will be speaking tonight. It'll be interesting to see the energy in the building for that. Last night, it was J.D. Vance. He spoke and gave his speech.

Go check it out. So last night, J.D. Vance spoke and there were other big speakers. There was Donald Trump Jr. Donald Trump Jr.'s daughter, Kai, she spoke.

Also, that was her first speech. I think she did a great job. The 13 fallen in Afghanistan, their parents were there. And several of them spoke, and it was touching. A 98 year old veteran from D-Day, he spoke.

And that may have been the highlight of the night. It was great to see him speak. It's great to see his perspective from a 98 year old D-Day veteran and what he had to say about America today. Well, as we look at things in the Democratic Party right now, they are a mess. Joe Biden is a mess.

You guys know that. We've talked about it a lot right here. You can see it for yourself. We've seen it for years. But now, the Democrat Party, they don't know what to do with him.

They have to get him out of the way. I guess the internal polling is probably worse than what we actually see. I think Matt Palumbo said it. You can probably add five points to whatever the polling data is showing that. that we can see.

And he's probably right on that. So the Democrats are now saying there is no way that Joe Biden can win. We understand that. there was a meeting with Schumer and Biden over the weekend at the beach, and Schumer told him it would be best for him to step aside, step away, do what's best for the country. He said Hakeem Jeffries, the leader in the House of Representatives.

He has done the same thing. And now we see even Nancy Pelosi is encouraging him to step aside. As I mentioned, he has covid. He was supposed to give a speech in Las Vegas on Wednesday. He was supposed to be giving a speech on Wednesday afternoon to a group of Hispanics on the campaign trail.

However, he was 90 minutes late. The decision was made that he wasn't going on. An announcement was made and the world knew he had covid again, fully vaccinated. And he said that the vaccine would work. It was safe and effective.

It was him that said that. In fact, I have some audio of Joe Biden saying that. And here it is. If you are vaccinated, you have over a 98 percent chance of never catching the virus at all. Hey, folks, guess you heard this morning.

I tested positive for covid. President Biden is back in isolation after testing positive for covid again. You're not going to get covid if you have these vaccinations. Well, President Biden has just tested positive for covid. We know that he tested positive for covid last in July 2022..

He was treated with a course of Paxlovid at that time, and he experienced a rebound positive test. If you are vaccinated, you have over a 98 percent chance of never catching the virus at all. And of course, we know that that is not true. It was never the truth. Nothing is 100 percent effective, but that's what they tried to sell us.

But now back to the Democrats and Joe Biden, because it doesn't look like he is going to be the nominee. yet. He still says he is. He still says that I am going to be the nominee and the Democrats are imploding. This thing is bad.

Joy Reid, by the way, on MSNBC. I don't know if you saw what she said. She actually said that if Joe Biden comes back from covid, which everybody pretty much is coming back from covid now, if Joe Biden comes back from covid, that it will be the same thing as Donald Trump getting shot on Saturday, getting up and raising his fist and saying, fight, fight, fight. She compared Joe Biden getting over covid to Donald Trump getting shot. MSNBC, they are still oblivious to what's going on.

CNN, that is not the case. They know that Joe Biden has to step aside. There is some honesty coming out of there from CNN, MSNBC. It is no wonder that so many people on the left think Joe Biden is the right guy and Donald Trump is evil, because those are the people that they watch all the time. OK, I'm going to get past that now.

I speak enough about that. Now, back to Joe Biden, before he was sick with covid, he did an interview with BET, and I don't think this adds anything to his cause for being the nominee for the Democrats. Listen to a couple of these answers here during this interview on BET. This was Wednesday. I'd like you to take a moment and tell black America what you want them to know.

Why should they turn out for you? Because they know where my heart is. They know where my head is. Well, by the way, if you notice, whether it's young blacks or young whites, or white, or Spanish or young Asian-Americans, they've never focused until after Labor Day. I mean, the idea is they're focused on the election right now.

Have you ever noticed how? he is just a lifelong politician? And he can never answer a direct question. There was a direct question there. But he always deflected really to me in these couple of clips that I'm going to play for you.

It sounds to me like he is really in a demented state. He is talking like it's 40 or 50 years ago when he speaks to his constituents, because now he is the president of the United States. He wants to be the president. Yet he is talking like he is a representative in Congress representing constituents. Yes, it's not there.

And, by the way, take a look at the presidents who have won at this stage of the game, the last seven presidents, five of them were losing at this time by significant margins. The point is we're just getting down to game time now. Yeah. And his game time is over. His game is over.

Joe Biden is. I have said this again since January 17th, 2023, that Joe Biden will not be the nominee. The Democrats are finally caught up. They realize, if they run him, that it is over. I find it also interesting that Merrick Garland is holding on so tight to the deposition from Robert Herr's investigation over the classified documents of Joe Biden.

It would seem to me that if they really want to push Joe Biden out when, when that decision is finally made, they'll probably just release that audio because that audio is not good or they wouldn't be fighting to keep it from everybody. But at this point, it appears that whoever has the power and control over the Department of Justice, which I guess is Joe Biden, because they are not releasing that audio tape. I think as soon as someone makes that decision, Joe Biden is out. That audio tape is going to come out. There's no reason for them to hold on to it.

Here's a little more of Joe Biden's interview with BET. And so it's all about. it's all about treating people with dignity. And it's about making sure that, look, I mean, for example, look at the heat. I'm getting it because I look at what.

did you? OK? I'm not sure exactly what he said. I'm getting it because I'm getting it because I named a secretary of defense for a black man. I named Katonji Brown.

Because of the people I've met. OK, so now he is on BET. So, to pander to those that watch BET, he's going to go through the list of the black people that he nominated and has in his cabinet and on the Supreme Court. That's how Joe Biden is. He's a lifelong politician.

It's not about people. It's not about the American people, but it's about classifications of people, black people, LGBTQ people. Everybody's in a box with the Democrats and Joe Biden. That's the way they are. It's not about lifting people up, lifting the American people up.

It's about specific boxes. But Joe Biden didn't sound good in those interviews, did he? Something else happened at the convention on Wednesday night that I think was very interesting. You have the investigation going on right now. that doesn't seem like much of an investigation into the shooting of Donald Trump on Saturday.

The Secret Service, led by Kimberly Cheadle, they have now shut down completely. I don't know if you saw this, but the House Select Committee, they issued a subpoena for her to show up on July 22nd. July 22nd, they are going to have a hearing to try to find out what is going on with the Secret Service with regards to Donald Trump's assassination attempt. At first, Kimberly Cheadle was cooperative with the House Select Committee, but Alejandro Mayorkas has told her, do not cooperate with them. Don't say anything.

If you want to keep your job, you're going to be quiet right now. And that's interesting from Alejandro Mayorkas in the DHS. Well, who's telling him to do that? and why? Why not the transparency?

Why can't we get honesty right now from our government after someone just tried to kill Donald Trump? It just happened a few days ago. So they're not getting the answers they want. On Wednesday afternoon, there was a hearing for the Senate behind closed doors that the Secret Service, Christopher Wray of the FBI, they were both there to tell them what they know. And in reality, they didn't get much information.

They didn't get the questions answered that they wanted to ask, especially Marsha Blackburn and John Barrasso. And there were a couple of others that the Secret Service said we have run out of time while they still had their hand up. So at the convention on Wednesday night, Kimberly Cheadle, the director of the Secret Service, was there and she was confronted and chased down by Marsha Blackburn, the senator from Tennessee, and John Barrasso, Senator John Barrasso. Here's a little bit of that audio. as they were chasing Kimberly Cheadle down the hallway and up the stairs and the escalator there in Milwaukee.

This was an assassination attempt.

James Lankford of Oklahoma was there, and they do get to confront her. And in that confrontation, they're. they're asking her, How come you didn't give us an opportunity to even ask our questions? We have questions. We want them answered.

Here is what John Barrasso and Marsha Blackburn put out together. An audio video here after this confrontation. I'm John Barrasso, chairman of the Senate Republican Conference. And Senator Blackburn, and I just went face to face with the director of the Secret Service asking for specific answers about what happened with President Trump in Pennsylvania and how that shooter was able to get off a clear shot when the FBI and the Secret Service knew that there was a suspicious person an hour in advance.

But I've got a message for her. She can run, but she cannot hide because the American people want to know.

They allowed him to go on stage first, even though they knew for an hour that there was a possible threat. They didn't detain the threat in Thomas Crooks, but they allowed him to continue to walk around. And then, 20 minutes before the shooting, they know where he is and they know he's a threat, but they allow Donald Trump on stage. And once he's on stage for 20 minutes, 10, 15 minutes, whatever, that is. The Secret Service didn't come and get him and take him off.

They waited for the shooter to shoot. There was a sniper on a building. The sniper had his sights on the shooter and they did not go get Donald Trump off the stage.

Those are the questions that we have. It's really simple. Why didn't the Secret Service go take Donald Trump off the stage? Why not? It's a very simple question.

There could be answers, and the answers, if they are not nefarious, they also are not good. They're not good answers. We didn't have the right communication. Nobody told us. We didn't know if we could shoot the guy.

Whatever those are, you're talking about the Secret Service protecting our elected officials, in this case, a former president and also the Republican candidate for the presidency in November. We deserve answers. And I hear there that Marsha Blackburn says, we'll, we'll get to it. But Marsha Blackburn has said that a lot through the years. She's almost like Lindsey Graham when he says, we'll get to the bottom of it.

They seem to never get to the bottom of it.

But there's a lot of heat on Kimberly Cheadle right now. We'll see what happens with this subpoena from the House Select Committee. She's going to have to answer it, I guess, or maybe not. You have Mayorkas in the background telling her to ignore it. This is the guy that was impeached and then he was never brought for a hearing in the Senate.

That was a mistake by Chuck Schumer and the Democrats to allow that to happen for the first time in American history. So will Cheadle show up on July 22nd? Probably not. And then will she be held in contempt of Congress? And then what happens?

Because we have seen people in contempt of Congress. Merrick Garland is in contempt of Congress right now. Nothing happens to him. Nothing happens to any of these people. It's time for transparency and accountability in our government.

We haven't had it for a long time, but it is as bad as it has ever been in America. right now. What the Democrats are doing, it's either by design, which I know a lot of you feel that it is. And if it's not by design, it's because they're totally inept. and maybe they're inept because they hire everybody in DEI.

That would make sense. But I just wonder if maybe it's a combination of both. I just wonder that if it's a combination of things, being by design and also because there are a lot of people within the administration and in the government that are just inept. I've come to that conclusion. But I said on January 17th, 2023, that Joe Biden would not be the nominee for the Democrat Party.

And that's where we are. But he, at this point, is still defiant, even though everyone in his party is telling him to step aside for the good of the country. And what does that tell you about Joe Biden? It tells you that Joe Biden has never been for what's good for the country. Joe Biden is about what's good for Joe Biden and Joe Biden's family.

We know about the millions of dollars that he has taken in from all of these other countries, China and Russia, just to name a couple. His family has been enriched by his political career. And it really wasn't his political career, but it was the side jobs that he did that made him wealthy. Generational wealth is what he's created. Multiple houses.

He's 98 years old. He's a World War two veteran. Not only that, he was there on the beaches on D-Day. There aren't many of these guys left. Again, he's 98..

He would have been about 18 years old, an 18 year old kid, an 18 year old American kid that fought on the beaches of Normandy. And President Trump back in commander in chief. I would go back to re-enlist today.

Isn't that great? He would go back and enlist at 98 years old if Donald Trump were president. And that's sort of what happened on Saturday afternoon, as Donald Trump rose to his feet, raised his fist and said, fight, fight, fight with blood on his face. That inspires a 98 year old man to say this country is worth it. This country is worth enlisting at 98 years old.

And that was a huge decision by the Supreme Court. Here is more of Greg Abbott. Fortunately, I see hope on the horizon, because on November the 5th, Joe Biden will be fired.

And Donald Trump will once again become the president of the United States of America.

He will enforce the immigration laws. He will fight the Mexican drug cartels and he will arrest the criminal, illegal immigrants and put them behind bars.

Or send them back. And again, the deportation thing, it really triggers the left. I say be triggered. Greg Abbott there says that November 5th, Joe Biden will be fired. Again, I don't think he's going to get to November 5th.

I think it's now time for the Democrats to install whoever it is that they are going to install. The president's most sacred duty is to secure our country.

Donald Trump fulfilled that duty by eliminating illegal immigration. Under President Trump, we had the lowest illegal border crossings in about four decades.

By contrast, however, Joe Biden deserted his duty. On his first day in office, he gutted President Trump's policies.

And the result has been catastrophic. Under Joe Biden, illegal immigration has skyrocketed. Under his watch, around 11 million immigrants have crossed our border illegally. That's more. That's more than the entire population of Michigan.

It's twice the population of Wisconsin. And Joe Biden recently said in a speech that illegal immigration under him was lower. He literally lies about everything. And to compare and contrast the two, the first 24 months of Joe Biden's presidency, 5.7 million encounters at the border. Under Donald Trump, the last 24 months, 1.3 million encounters.

It wasn't completely eliminated. This has been a problem in this country for 40 years and solutions are needed. But let's start by getting the illegal people out, especially the criminals that were mentioned there a few minutes ago. Let's start there. Let's close the border.

No one else comes in. And then let's let the dust settle. Let's come up with some solutions and figure this thing out. finally. After all of these years, the Republicans didn't just speak about deporting illegal immigrants.

Also, they talked about a legal path to citizenship and how important it is for migrants and immigrants to be here in America and how strong it makes America. It is what we are. It's who we are. We all came from somewhere. And here we are.

Generations later, maybe J.

D. Vance spoke about this also. I'll get to some of him here in just a minute. And all of the speeches on Wednesday night were leading up to J.D. Vance.

Before him, there was Donald Trump Jr. I'd begin my remarks. I'm going to do something a little uncharacteristic.

A Trump is going to give up the microphone.

Doesn't happen often. You may never see it again, but I got a call on Monday morning from a young lady who said, Dad,

I want to speak at the RNC. I want to speak at the RNC because I want America to know what my grandpa is actually like.

So, for the first time ever on a stage, first time ever giving a speech, I want to bring out my eldest daughter and the eldest granddaughter of the president of the United States, your favorite president, Kai Madison Trump.

So Don Jr. there passes the torch to another generation of Trump because she wants to talk about her granddad, her grandfather. And this allows the American people to see Donald Trump as a human being, as the grandfather that none of us ever get to see. Here is some of what she said. He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren't looking.

He always wants to know how we're doing in school. When I made the high honor roll, he printed it out. So, his friends, how proud he was on me.

But then I had to remind him that I'm in school and I have to call him back later.

When we play golf together, if I'm not on his team, he'll try to get inside of my head. I know. And he's always surprised that I don't let him get to me.

But I have to remind him I'm a Trump, too.

And that is Kai Trump, the oldest granddaughter of Donald Trump and the daughter of Don Jr. Here is some of Don Jr.'s speech. You know, Don Jr. is a good speaker. You know, he's just really good at it.

He, he brings energy. He brings emotion to the floor and to a podium when he speaks. And he did that again last night as well. We will fight. We will fight with our voices.

We will fight with our hearts. We will fight with our ideas. And on November 5th, we will fight with our vote.

I've always been proud of him, but I've never been prouder of my father than I was in that moment. That's when the world found out that there is tough and then there's Trump tough.

And the good news is America is Trump tough.

There was a lot of conversation about the metaphor that was Saturday evening when Donald Trump was attempted to be assassinated by Thomas Crooks in Butler, Pennsylvania. The metaphor for America that it has been down. We are down right now. But every time America is down, regardless of what it is, we get back up, we get to our feet and we fight. And at a moment when Donald Trump was being shot at.

Instinctively, as a leader, knowing what was going on at that point, he stands to his feet. He raises his fist, pumps it in unison with fight, fight, fight. And he continued to do that until the Secret Service took him to the car and got him out of the way. That's America's history. That's what we have always done as a nation since the beginning.

And that iconic moment from Donald Trump on Saturday evening at about 615 Eastern Time. That is what America is. We fight, we get to our feet and we come back. And that's what Wednesday night was at the RNC convention. That's what it was about.

And I'm going to get into what J.

D. Vance had to say, as he did his speech and introduced himself last night to the American people.

Why don't we liberate these United States? We're the ones who need it worst. Let the rest of the world help us for change. And let's rebuild America first. Our highways and bridges are falling apart.

Who's blessed and who has been cursed? There's things to be done all over the world, but let's rebuild America first.

Who's on the hill and who's watching the valley? Who's in charge of it all?

God bless the army and God bless our liberty. That drum, the rest of it, all. Heads of men in position are backing away. Freedom is stuck in reverse. Let's get out of Iraq, get back on track and let's rebuild America first.

Before I get to J.

D. Vance's speech and everything around that, I want to go to one of the most important things that happened on Wednesday night at the RNC convention. And that was when the families, the gold star families of the 13, fallen in Afghanistan, in that debacle that took place, Joe Biden made the decisions that he did to pull out of Afghanistan. If you remember all of that, it's you're not forgetting that the 13 American soldiers died on that day. Joe Biden has never spoken to the families of these people.

He has never apologized for his decisions. He won't even say their names. He ignores it completely. And just as an example of how Joe Biden feels about these people, let's go back to the tarmac. when the 13 were brought back to this country in Delaware and they were being unloaded with the flags draped over the coffins.

Joe Biden took the time to look at his watch to find out what time it was.

It was time for 13 Americans to be honored. But Joe Biden didn't have the time, the energy, or didn't think it was important enough to those families to ever say their name. If you don't say their name, it didn't happen. That seems to be a common thread of this administration. We just don't say their name, whether it's Lake and Riley or any of the other people that have been raped or murdered by those that have come through the Southern border.

We just won't say their name. And then it doesn't happen. because if we say their name, then we're going to bring attention to them. And that's going to bring attention to the fact that we have made mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes.

This was a big one by the Biden administration, and he still will not say their names. The RNC convention, they took the opportunity to say all 13 people's names, 11 men, two women paid the ultimate sacrifice for America. And none of them had to be dead. Joe Biden's decision, his administration's ineptness. That is the reason they died.

Here is a gold star family, a mom and a dad who lost a son. To protect themselves, rather than our sons and daughters who took the oath to defend our country.

When Hunter and the other service members bodies were returned to the U S in Dover, Delaware, Joe Biden met the plane, but he made the occasion more about his son lost to cancer than our sons and daughters lost on his watch. Worse than that, he has never said their names out loud, and during, and during last month's debate, he claimed no service members have died during his administration.

And my son, Hunter Lopez.

And that was a nice touch there by the crowd, to say the names of each one of those. You heard that we got into about three or four of them and they started picking up that rhythm. But there are the names of the 13 that Joe Biden will not say, but I'll say it, we'll put it here on the Truth Be Told. We'll put it here on America Out Loud Talk Radio. Those 13 lives paid the ultimate sacrifice for America.

Joe Biden runs from them. He doesn't mention their names. Some of these parents, these Gold Star family parents, they also spoke about what Donald Trump has done for them on a personal level, having them come to Bedminster to meet with Donald Trump. And, by the way, at this very moment, when these 13 were introduced name by name, the 13 that had fallen in Afghanistan and Joe Biden has ignored them, he doesn't want to say their name. And guess what MSNBC did at this very moment?

Instead of showing this on television, so that their audience would see that 13 people actually died under Joe Biden when he said the opposite of that in the debate, MSNBC does this at the very moment that that was taking place. They pull away from it. And here's Rachel Maddow, who would less like to join in on this conversation than probably anything else in his entire life. But he is now going to join us. He is our friend Jamie Harrison, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

You have stumbled into quite a conversation, Mr. Chairman. Thank you so much for being here. So they pull away from that acknowledgement for the Gold Star families to speak to the head of the DNC at that very minute. That clip was only two or three minutes there that I played for you.

But they couldn't do that. MSNBC could not do that because they are only a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. At the moment, when the Gold Star families are up there, they go to the head of the DNC. That's what MSNBC did. So let's get to J.D.

Vance. He was introduced by his wife. And here she is. And with that, it is my great privilege to introduce my husband and the next vice president of the United States, J.D. Vance.

Now, that song you just heard there, that is a Merle Haggard song from 2005.

. And that song was a song against George Bush. I think it's interesting that that hillbilly song was used here as the walkout music for J.D. Vance. What is it saying?

That was against big government, that song was. It was against what was going on in Afghanistan, the decision to go there for weapons of mass destruction. What we are seeing is a transformation of the Republican Party. And I know a lot of people have made a lot about it, about taking abortion off of the 20 bullet points. But through this week and through this convention, there have been scriptures read, there have been verses shared, and there's been a lot of talk about God and Jesus.

They haven't abandoned that part of the Republican Party, of being conservative. This is about America, first, about the American people. And that's what we find out with J.D. Vance here. Now, my work taught me that there is still so much talent and grit in the American heartland, there really is.

But for these places to thrive, my friends, we need a leader who fights for the people who built this country.

And this is going to be J.

D. Vance's biggest job, and that is being the supporter on the ground in the Rust Belt states during this election. for whoever the Democrats bring in to replace Joe Biden, probably Kamala Harris. But this is important. He is a cheerleader for Donald Trump during this campaign.

He also is loyal to Donald Trump.

We need a leader who's not in the pocket of big business, but answers to the working man, union and non-union alike.

A leader who won't sell out to multinational corporations, but will stand up for American companies and American industry.

A leader who rejects Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's green news scam and fights to bring back our great American factories. We need President Donald J. Trump.

And you can hear him doing a pretty good job there, of being a cheerleader and supporting Donald Trump. That is his job over the next three months or so, until November 5th. And then, assuming they win, his job, will then become the Vice President of the United States. And really, when it comes down to it, historically, the vice presidential pick means absolutely nothing for the election. People go to vote for a president.

They are going to go vote for Donald Trump or whoever they install. That is the election. But it's still, I think, important to know who this vice presidential pick is, because so many people really don't know who J.D. Vance is, the senator from Ohio.

Some people tell me I've lived the American dream, and of course they're right, and I'm so grateful for it. But the American dream that always counted most was not starting a business or becoming a senator, or even being here with you, fine people, though it's pretty awesome.

My most important American dream was becoming a good husband and a good dad, of being able to give.

I wanted to give my kids the things that I didn't have when I was growing up, and that's the accomplishment that I'm proudest of. That. tonight, I'm joined by my beautiful wife, Usha, an incredible lawyer and a better mom, and our three beautiful kids, Ewan, who's seven, Vivek, who's four, and Mirabelle, who's two. Now, they're back at the hotel, and kids, if you're watching, daddy loves you very much, but get your butts in bed.

He's still a dad, too, and also still a husband. But I'm going to wrap up the J.D. Vance part of it, because before this hour is over, I want to get to what the mainstream media, legacy media, had to say about the night at the RNC convention.

Together, we will put the citizens of America first, whatever the color of their skin. We will, in short, make America great again.

one of the things that you hear people say sometimes is that America is an idea. And, to be clear, America was indeed founded on brilliant ideas like the rule of law and religious liberty, things written into the fabric of our Constitution and our nation. But America is not just an idea. It is a group of people with a shared history and a common future. It is, in short, a nation.

Now, it is part of that tradition, of course, that we welcome newcomers. But when we allow newcomers into our American family, we allow them on our terms.

And J.

D. Vance was getting close to the end of his address. there. He's about five minutes away from the end of it. But there you hear him talking about the illegal immigration.

The doors are open here for America. We're open to immigration, but it has to be done the right way, the legal way. And we need to come up with common sense solutions to finally fix it. But let's go to what the mainstream media was saying. Because in the background, you have the Democrats imploding.

They have no one to run at this point. They are in the middle of pushing Joe Biden out, whether it's the mainstream media or the leaders in the Democrat Party. That's what they are currently working on, as Joe Biden has COVID after five or six shots, that is 100 percent effective.

Anyway, that's beside the point. Back to the mainstream media and what they had to say about what's going on at the RNC convention. They're concerned. Because I've been so struck not just by what we've heard, Kristen, but by what we have not heard this whole week. All of the rally favorites, the greatest hits about the 2020 election being stolen.

No one's mentioning it. Political grievances, weaponizing government. Nobody's mentioning it. Nobody's calling the January 6th rioters, patriots or hostages. All of that seems to have been excised from what the Republican Party is trying to portray here on this stage.

It is notable. And it's very important because, if you look at exit polling data, rigged elections, that doesn't work. And the Republicans have learned from those mistakes. Rigged elections don't work. Stolen elections.

Insurrection. Those things are not things to bring the middle, the undecided voters over to you, whether it's Donald Trump or the Republican senators that are trying to flip seats to gain control of the Senate. Let's go back to more of this. Very notable. And we are told that the Republican National Committee did urge some of these speakers to tone down their language in these speeches.

And so clearly we're hearing a reflection of that in these speeches. It represents a shift. It represents, to some extent, what we heard from former President Trump after the assassination attempt against his wife, which is that he ripped up his speech completely, that he has rewritten his speech. I interviewed Eric Trump today. He says his dad is finished with that rewrite.

He has said it will be a call for unity. Now, we're not exactly hearing that in every speech, but you're absolutely right, Savannah. It is so notable that these speeches are toned down and devoid of some of that typical red meat that you hear from former President Trump and from his ally. And that's the voice of Lester Holt there, because this is coverage on NBC, one of the networks, and that's how they are talking about the Republicans in this RNC. I think that's important.

That message is getting across. We're leaving that behind, and this is what we are. I think J.D. Vance's walkout song was saying that as well. J.D.

Vance's speech was excellent in the things that he brought up, going back to Kentucky to be buried one day. It was really, really good of J.D. Vance. And now we look to President Donald Trump, former President Donald Trump, and the candidate for the Republican Party. as his speech happens tonight, on Thursday night.

And tomorrow night, I'll be able to bring you that speech. I will be joined with Chris Widener to give us his thoughts on the entire week of the RNC convention. I think it's been a good week. What do you think? We are on our way to November 5th.

The Republicans, it seems like they have their act together. They are saying the right things. The party is coming together. We are unifying. You see that with Nikki Haley, Rhonda Santos.

All of that is behind the Republican Party at this time. Where is the Democrat Party at this point? You have the leaders of the Democrat Party, Schumer, Hakeem, Jeffries, Nancy Pelosi. They are telling Joe Biden to step aside, do what is best for the country. And Joe Biden is saying not a fat chance.

We'll see in the end who wins that debate between the 81-year-old decrepit, demented Joe Biden, and the powerful leadership of the Democrat Party. I'm Booker Scott.
