Or what about even turn back the clock on aging skin? Now, what if I told you that you could achieve all of this and more by simply tapping into the power of cold and light? That's right. Today we're talking about two revolutionary therapies that are making waves in the wellness community. Cryotherapy and red light therapy.
And welcome healers of all ages to Energetic Health Institute Radio, a show perfect for people who are ready to stop being a patient and start being a student. A show perfect for healers and aspiring healers. A show perfect for beings of light, interested in love, logic, and, of course, light. So if you're ready to learn about the safest, the most effective, the most wonderful medicine in the world, then this is the show for you. But first, let's set the stage.
Now imagine stepping into a chamber so cold. it feels like winter in the Arctic, yet you emerge feeling rejuvenated, pain-free, and full of energy. Or picture basking in the warm glow of red light, knowing that it's not just relaxing, but also repairing your cells and revitalizing your skin from within. Sounds intriguing, doesn't it? And I have to share that I have personally enjoyed both cryotherapy and red light therapy.
And as a girl coming from Canada who does not like the cold, I am becoming obsessed with cryotherapy. It is two and a half to three minutes in icy, cold temperatures, and the amount of energy and clarity that I feel afterwards and even during, it really provides a huge rush of endorphins. And I'm excited to share more about these therapies with you and my personal experience, as well as a special surprise later in the show. So in this episode, we are going to explore how these therapies work, of course, the science behind them, and the incredible benefits that they offer. And now, whether you're an athlete looking to boost your performance, or perhaps you're struggling with chronic pain, or maybe you're simply curious about the latest wellness trends, this show is definitely for you.
I'm going to break down the complex science into simple, actionable insights that you can incorporate into your daily routine. And, as we know, routine is everything. As we've touched on a little bit when it comes to the neuroscience aspect, the more times that we repeat an action or a behavior or a thought, the more that it gets solidified and cemented into our daily habits, and it becomes a subconscious way to live life. So everything that we're teaching on this show, think about how can you incorporate it into your life? Is it something that's going to be beneficial for you?
Does it resonate with you? And how can you really just take control of your health with all of this information? Because that's what we're here to do. We're here to educate you and inspire you. And we're really here to give you all these options to make your own decisions about your own health.

Now, I am so excited. Today's show is going to be not like anything else, the amount of information.
we're going to go through the in depth experiences, and I really feel like it's going to resonate and inspire you to potentially look into different biohacking therapies for yourself and see what might work for you and what, you know, what really resonates with you. And that's what this is all about giving you the information to be able to make your own choices. But before we dive in, let me paint a picture for you. Now imagine waking up every morning with boundless energy, with a clear mind, and a body that really feels like it's functioning at its peak. Now imagine looking in the mirror and seeing not just the absence of wrinkles, but a glow that radiates health and vitality.
Now, that's the promise of biohacking. And today, we're going to show you exactly how to unlock it. And no matter where you are in your health or healing journey, just by listening to this episode, you're taking a step in the right direction. And I want you to know that I believe in you. Now, you can probably hear in my voice, I am not the exact picture of health this week.
And you know what, I'm human too. And as we talk about life, and I'm learning and growing from sharing all this information with you, I'm not perfect. So I actually just got back from a trip up to Canada to visit family and friends. And I made healthy choices. But one thing that I do struggle with, well, basically, is not over committing.
So I used to live in Canada, I have so many family and friends up there. And I spent almost 10 days driving around, visiting so many people, going to so many events, reconnecting, it was so fulfilling and so fun. I don't think I stopped talking for 10 days. Hence, my voice is a little scratchy, I'm gonna have a quick sip of tea. So even all of us in the wellness industry, I did not get enough sleep, I over committed, I over scheduled.
I, like, I say, I think I met up with maybe 40 different, you know, friends and family. And just for my life back in Canada, it was so fulfilling to have that connection and communication. But I just recently got back to Arizona, and I was feeling really run down. And my voice is really raspy from all of the talking I did. And I realized, wait, I wasn't actually doing a lot of these wellness modalities.
I was doing the basics, right? When I'm traveling, I was taking my chlorella, I was drinking water. I have to admit, I was not as diligent on getting my sleep, since I wanted to see everybody and do everything. Growing up in Canada, close to the Rocky Mountains, I did so much hiking and all the great things and all the fun food and just the connection. It was truly amazing.
But I think sometimes it's interesting, after I got back from my trip, and I realized, wait, I'm run down, I need some of these biohacking modalities. So I'm really excited, actually, after having a conversation with you, I am going to go and do some cryotherapy and red light therapy and all the things. And last night, I made sure to get extra sleep. So that's where, in our healing journey, I want you to think about as well, we're never going to be absolutely perfect. We're going to go off path a little bit here and there.
And that's life, right? And a lot of what I talk about as well is healthy, indulgent living and how to truly live your best life and enjoy life and also feel great. And it's a continual process, learning and growing. And even myself, I'm in the in the health expert field, and I'm continually tweaking what works for me. So that's what's so fun to have all this information and all these different tools and tactics and modalities to pick and choose what works for you at this stage in your life.
And I invite you to continue to evaluate it as you go along. If you try something that you love, fantastic. If it's no longer working for you, that's fine. You can shift, you can shift and grow. So I'm so excited for our episode today.

His name is Kyle Kramer from US Cryotherapy. And since 2009, they are the pioneers and founders of the whole body cryotherapy industry here in the USA. They use cold oxygenated air with cryotherapy, which is very important in terms of how effective it is and the safety of the therapy. Now, I personally go to US cryotherapy once or twice a week. I know I should go more.
I love all the modalities and Kyle is definitely an expert in biohacking and how to choose the best types of services and modalities and treatments for your health and wellness goals. So, Kyle, welcome to the show.
Honored to be here. Yeah, thank you, Jolene. I appreciate it. And don't worry, we'll get you up to three to four times a week here in no time. But yeah, yeah, very, very happy to be here.
We'd love to kind of share a little bit of the backstory of, you know, my family's history regarding this industry and, you know, kind of the steps we've been taken. And, you know, we've been the leaders of creating all the protocol and the literatures around the US. cryotherapy. Can dive in and let you know, we've had about 30 professional training rooms that we're involved with. So we've definitely been considered the gold standard amongst the professional athlete world as well.
You know, we were the first on a military base as well in the United States.
Wow, I didn't know that. Wow.
Yeah, yeah. That's why I have Christina on here with us. She has, you know, all of our aesthetics and body contouring and beauty services at US cryotherapy. And she actually first joined the company when we piloted and opened in that facility down in Texas. So yeah, that was a big one for us.
We've also been kind of the first to get HSA and FSA approval within our space of the industry. So that's been a, you know, big game changer for us and others in the industry as well. Just continuing to try to be very, you know, active on how we go about our health and wellness and not being as reactive, right. So I think that's a big emphasis we'll talk on today is just the nature of, you know, proactive health routine and, you know, frequency of a lot of these treatments to get some of the best benefits.
I love that. I love being the proactivity as well, because so many, you know, it's easy to just kind of go about your life, and then suddenly something happens. And if you're proactive, you can often prevent that from happening.
Exactly. And I'm not saying we can prevent everything, but it is a really good approach to not be waiting until your own crutches to come and see us, you know.
I'm sure you can help those people, too.
Yes. And then I know I was mentioning, you know, being in 30 professional training rooms, but, you know, a big focus that we've always had around our industry since day one in 2009 is that, you know, we are a facility that is considered, you know, great amongst professional athletes, but it's anyone can take care of their health. You know, you don't have to be an Olympian to take care of your body. I've only heard of anyone always getting one. And so, yeah, it's important to take care of it.
And then the big emphasis around, you know, the whole body cryotherapy, chamber, and then all the other additional services we do, the simplest explanation is that they're all there to basically help enhance your circulatory response. We can help the body circulate better. A lot of other stuff starts working how it's supposed to. We can reduce inflammation and promote, you know, a healthier lifestyle.
I love this. And I feel like when we talk about like the word biohacking is kind of a trendy word right now. And you made a couple of great points already. I feel like a lot of people feel like it's only for athletes or only for those kind of elite performers. But I feel like there's so many different modalities out there.
And it could also be confusing to even know where to start if a person wants to. I mean, a lot of our, pretty much all of our listeners are really well versed on health and wellness. Everybody listening wants to elevate their health and just, you know, be healthier in any way possible. But, you know, how do you get started? if you want to get into this, you know, the biohacking realm, or whatever we want to call it?
How do you know which modality to start with? And just like what's going to work? the best for you?
That's a great question. And, you know, what we've noticed over our 14, almost 15 years now of being in the industry and being pioneers of it is that, you know, definitely is a diluted market. But, you know, that's something we deal with in America, whether it's you're talking about health and wellness or which sandwich or steak shop you're going to. So there's definitely always different levels in terms of equipment and efficiency around it. So a really good place that I've personally started and I know my father did before we even launched this company was, you know, resources like the Cleveland Clinic is a really good one.
You know, the National Institute of Health looking up some certain studies that have been done around these therapies. I know, for instance, there's a lot of whole body cryotherapy studies done, especially showing kind of the difference between what we call electric cryotherapy, which utilizes the cold oxygenated air, and a walk-in system compared to, you know, there's nitrogen gas based cryotherapies. And then there's also force cool cryotherapies where they're more so. flipping on a switch is not as much of that dry cold. But yeah, definitely, definitely referencing some studies out there helps a lot.
I know, you know, with the red light panels, as well as infrared saunas, there's a lot of good studies out there showing the, you know, efficacy around why some of these devices and manufacturers have gone to, you know, class two FDA medical devices.
And I love stacking different therapies back to back and just utilizing all the different ways that we help our body, because our bodies have such an innate healing ability. And it's just sometimes they just need a little bit of help to kind of, you know, get to the next level. But let's maybe focus, because there you have so many, so much great information on all these different modalities. But cryotherapy is a very, I mean, is it a fad? Is it like I personally, I come to your, your clinic, I love it.
Like we say, when I need to start going a little more often. But when I do, it just energizes me, I feel revitalized, I don't need my afternoon coffee. It's just a nice little reset in, you know, three minutes or less. But maybe you could we talk a little bit about like, what is cryotherapy, how to choose a good provider, because you were just saying there's so many different options. And until I met you, I didn't even know there was different types of cryotherapy.
Yeah, I would love to definitely dive into that a little bit with you. So the big thing that's going on there, as kind of mentioned earlier, was the whole circuitory response, right. And so with the cold air therapy, we're really able to activate the ANS, the atomic, you know, nervous system. And when you're affecting the ANS a little bit more, that's what's triggering you on more of that cellular level, to really go into that, you know, fight or flight mode, that's bringing blood to the core to really keep it warm. Once that blood is getting to the core, it's getting a lot of nutrients.
And then, once it flushes back out, after the treatment's done, that's where you're getting a lot of those healing properties. The big focus is making sure that it's a whole body cryotherapy. And you're not doing partial cooling, because if you're doing the partial, it's more forced, and it's more strenuous on the body, it is very important to find a way to relax while you're doing the cryotherapy treatment.
Because I have, yeah, I, what you're saying too, I have tried a couple different cryotherapy places, and yours is so coming from Canada, there's a reason. I live in Arizona, I don't like the cold. But when I go in your cryotherapy, do you call it a chamber or the cryotherapy?
It's different, it's, it's the full body, it's not one of the cylinder ones, it's a full room. And it's actually more pleasurable, actually, like I, you know, I do, yoga stretches, it's a whole room, I can just, you know, stretch and move around, and it doesn't feel claustrophobic. And it actually, it's less, I guess, maybe intense, or less, I don't know what the word is. But the other ones I've tried, I really didn't like, to be honest.
So I will dive into that a little bit more. So yeah, it can fit, it can fit up to four people in the chamber session. And that's amazing. to what Jolene was mentioning, we really encourage running through a good stretch routine while you're in there. Personally, I love doing some push ups in there.
But I know my mom is a big yogi, and she does everything from headstands in there. So you can, you can kind of do everything except, you know, lick the cryotherapy chamber wall, I always reference the Christmas story in that regards. But yes, you're having increased range of motion, because of that cold oxygenated air in there. So it's very similar to feeling like, you know, you're up in the Rocky Mountains. So definitely, you know, you work on some slight and controlled breathing.
We always tell people, if you're moving excessively, it creates more of that windshield, which will drop your skin temp a little bit more, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But for people that are just getting started, I would really recommend the first 45 seconds to a minute, focusing on relaxing. It's definitely enhancing the mind body connection, right. So I'm really trying to hone in on. that works.
And then definitely anything you can do to help relax the shoulders and the chest is going to make it an easier process. So, believe it or not, if you're actually, you know, shriveling up, like you would typically, if you're sitting at a, you know, cold football game in the stands, if you actually curl up, it makes it a harder process. So we have those stretch bars that align along the walls. I've seen NFL linemen put all their body weight into it. So I'm always telling people you can get as deep a stretch as you'd like.
But you can do everywhere, from lunges, a good backstretch. But my good one to start, I mentioned is putting the hands and kind of holding that reverse to work on that backwards grip to really open up the shoulders and, you know, promote that blood flow.
I love that. And it's so energizing as well. And you mentioned that. So let's just get a little deeper into, maybe like a little bit of science. But so the benefit of cryotherapy, you're saying the number one is the circulation factor.
Yeah, so basically, when you enhance that circulation, we're really helping, you know, reduce inflammation, we're getting new blood cells back out to the areas that are potentially injured. With consistent use to. it's really good, because that's what helps the body gravitate towards that more efficient homeostasis. Right. So our bodies are very, very intelligent, probably more intelligent than we give them credit for at times.
And when you do these type of biohacking therapies, that's where the routine is really key, because it picks up on those little, you know, benefits. And it wants to actually preserve more of those benefits. So that's why the routine is the big thing, with what we're, you know, preaching over here. But yeah, and then there's also a really good endorphin release. So norepinephrine and dopamine release, from a psychological standpoint.
So I recommend people, you know, once they get more comfortable going into the cryotherapy chamber, to even take off the beanie for the last 30 seconds, or potentially look to go to the headband, right, so the top of their head gets that cold exposure. We've actually partnered with the NFL Alumni Association, and I've seen a lot of really great results reducing CTE symptoms. And that's mainly due to the norepinephrine release. So there's a lot of really good components to it. But also just continuing to help, you know, have that body go through the thermoregulation, right.
So that's one of the biggest keys to is helping the body thermoregulate on a more enhanced level. So my dad's always talked about it. And if you really think about it, as a society, we definitely are more gravitating towards a very standard temperature setting. And so when it's hot outside, we're kicking on the AC trying to get it down to 70.. When this in the winter, we're kicking on the heater.
So the ability to help the body thermoregulate on a consistent basis, really helps it become that more efficient, you know, system as a whole.
I love this. And it's like you mentioned the routine as well. So our listeners know that I'm studying neuroscience right now, close to be a doctor, getting there. And what we're talking about, too, is the neural pathways. And when we have routine, when we have consistency, we're building these new pathways, and it becomes just a habit.
So that makes sense what you're saying, where, if we're teaching our bodies, how do you adapt? And how do you acclimatize, and just how to deal with different stresses, it's going to translate to all areas of our life. So I feel like just by doing this, and you're completely right, the dopamine I, like I, after we record this, I may have to just go do a session. I feel amazing. I do.
I do two and a half minutes, but I didn't even think about taking the hat off or just using earband for even more. Is it more stimulation? Or it's just the top of your head to get a little?
more, there's just, there's just a lot of those benefits with cooling the top of the head. And, as I mentioned, it just promotes more of that endorphin release, right? Just because it's that sensitive area. And that's why we're, you know, like I said, for the last 30 seconds, or the headband works great, because we definitely want to make sure we're being safe, that, you know, keeping the ears warm, and stuff of that nature. So but yeah, it's really about just getting that endorphin release.
That's what's helping, you know, the revascularization and also helping within the ANS as far as really activating that, you know, fight or flight response. But you know, you're coming out after the two to three minutes.
Feeling amazing. And so how is this different than the cold plunge?
Great question. So definitely tying back to the way the body circulates. So when you think about cold plunges, cold showers, ice packs, our body has these built in defense mechanisms that go into play, whether we want them to or not, when, depending on what we're exposed to. And so when you're talking about a cold plunge, or a cold shower, ice packs, the body goes into that fight against hypothermia. And because we're about 70% water, once that water and ice permeates the skin, when the body reads the cold blood and the cold water, it doesn't want to migrate that towards the core.
And so it's trying to keep that core stabilized. And so the best way to do that is actually slowing down a lot of circulatory properties. And this is why, and I was a former baseball player, I know a lot of professional baseball players have moved away from ice, and have focused on things that are helping with the circulatory response. So I always look at ice, you know, it gets a really good endorphin release, still those cold plunges, so I'm not totally knocking them. But I would say, you know, that's kind of it, it's definitely more of a masking technique for the pain, but it's not as much so helping with that whole body flush.
That makes sense. And I feel like that's where natural health is so interesting. There's so many great modalities. And I'm the same as you, I won't necessarily knock one, because it's better than you know, doing nothing and the endorphin release, there's always health benefits. But I also feel that people are spending their time and money.
Why not choose the absolute best one that's going to get them the results. And then, you know, that, and it seems like what you're talking about is just going to get like the most bang for your buck, basically.
Well, and that was gonna be my next talking point. So the big focus of our company, since the beginning, right, has always been about, you know, the relationships that we build, not only around our own staff and family, because it is a very big family based company.
It does feel like a family. When I go in there, it does feel like a family. It's very comfortable. I love it.
Yeah, we really want to focus on the relationships we build with our customers. And that definitely ties into, you know, them coming in more frequently. I always joke about it with some clients that we're trying to become the new, modern age coffee shop, right, where you can come in and get on with your day, but it's a nice place to socialize too. And it's something that can be an everyday stop, it could be an every other day stop. But yeah, and tying into that, we've always really tried to revolve our programs around a very nice, affordable price to to allow this frequent and, you know, basically unlimited access to the facility.
So that's always been the goal from the beginning. And we continue to have that and it definitely ties in, you know, to what I was mentioning on our chamber. being on a, you know, operation system of a standing room temp. We're not really having to worry about turning it on and off each session, right? It's running for our standard hours of operation.
And I have to remember that too, because I, you know, we all live busy lives. And, you know, I live about 10 minutes away from you guys. But I have to, like, remember, I could literally go in, and within less than 10 minutes, I could do a quick, you know, two and a half, three minute session. And it doesn't have to be. I feel like sometimes, with wellness, we all and myself included, I'm in the wellness industry, get overwhelmed and think, Oh, I don't have time for it.
Or, you know, it's just gonna take too long. But even just the littlest bit. And that's what I love about your cryotherapy chamber is a two and a half, three minute session, and you are, you know, out and about your day. If you don't choose to do the other modalities, which we're going to talk about in our next segment.
Yeah, and I'll share a quick story with that. We have a customer of ours, she's been coming in since 2018.. She's a realtor here in the area. She's awesome. We love her.
She's in all the time. She literally comes in in her work outfit, on her lunch break, she'll jump in the cryo chamber, and then straight back to work. And then sometimes, if she has time later on in the day, the way our packages work, she can come in and use up what she has on her access. pass later towards our closing hours, if that happens to work. But she's done a timer on it, her kids were waiting in the car on her one day, in and out of our facility in three minutes and 55 seconds.
I don't think I've heard of any other modality. You can get such great effects in such a short period of time.
Yeah. And those ones that are coming quickly, like, they definitely are understanding more of the routine aspect of it, right, of how they're trying to, you know, basically stack certain days upon one another of consistent use.
I love this and the routine and all this. So we're going to go for a short break right now. But when we come back, I'd love to hear about some other types of the biohockey modalities that you recommend and the results you've had. And we're going to bring on your special guest, Christina. All right healers, welcome back. I'm your host, Jolene Goring, and today we are talking about the future of wellness, biohacking for a healthier you. Now, Kyle, from U.S. Cryotherapy, and I have been talking about the benefits of cryotherapy, how important circulation is, and just really, how to use these different modalities to boost your overall health, regardless of what your health goals are. Now, Kyle, welcome back to the show, and we are going to dive into a couple of different types of modalities that your center offers and, in general, that our listeners might.
want to be aware of, depending on their health goals. Yeah, I would love to dive into it. I think the next segment within our facility and what our company does as a whole is definitely the ability to have, you know, a different mix of the therapies that we're offering there, but then really how our staff, you know, customizes a really good plan for you, depending on what you're.
going through. And I think that's the key too, right, is and I think it can be confusing for people because there's so many different modalities out there. It can probably be a little bit confusing to know what's going to be best for their health goals and to really help them get.
the next level of health. Yeah, definitely. So we've really seen a good mix, you know, between whole body cryotherapy and red light therapy. They're both kind of helping the body heal on more of a systemic whole body, you know, healing perspective. You know, cryotherapy is helping with more of the circulation, whereas red light therapy is helping you heal more.
on that cellular level. You know, we have localized cryotherapy options. Those are great for anyone coming in, you know, with a specific knee injury, you know, sprain post-surgery works phenomenal for that. And so that one is easiest to look at as like a cold air blow dryer. And so think of a football to rugby ball size area where we're isolating that certain spot and really helping reduce those, you know, inflammation symptoms that you're having in that specific spot.
We also do cold air facials with it too. But yeah, we have percussion therapy, compression therapy. So I can understand where, you know, people start to definitely get a little bit overwhelmed, but that's why we love, you know, building that relationship with the customer to really understand what's going to work best for them that day. And the beauty of it is you could do one kind of routine one day, come back the next day and do something a little bit different. That's still going to help be promoting those responses.
Our infrared sauna is an amazing one too. If you're really not feeling the cold that day, it's a really good method to help the body detox more. And then we have a whole aesthetic and skincare line too, within the facility that, you know, really focuses more on non-invasive stuff to really help the body heal from within. I'm excited to have Christina on here for that. I know she's definitely going to be covering that segment and can definitely tell you a lot more facts in regards to red light therapy and how that's helping the skin.
The last couple of points I'll make on red light therapy is the ability to have the infrared setting with the red light therapy, which we have on our panels and most do out there. So that's not as much a concern, but the combination of both of those help more with the tissue and tendon healing too. It helps that red light penetrate deeper within the body.
And yeah, so I'll let Christina talk more on kind of, you know, the routine of red light therapy, how it works best on that essence and how it also ties in to the skin and beauty side. Amazing. Yes. Welcome, Christina.
And I'm excited to learn. I personally love doing red light therapy at your facility. I just find it so. it's like relaxing and energizing and rejuvenating all at the same time. But I'd love to just get everybody up to speed, maybe a little on the science behind it, how it works, what it's beneficial for, who might want to do red light therapy.
I'd love to get your perspective on that.
Absolutely. And thank you for having me. I'm really excited to be here today. When it comes to red light therapy, and I want to put an emphasis on the red light therapy that we have in our facility is we have medical grade red light therapy, which can vary on the market nowadays, but ours is considered medical grade. And the benefits of our medical grade red light therapy panels is the fact that not only does it involve red light, which is great for superficial healing, superficial benefits.
So thinking like overall skin health is really where red light shines, like superficial healing of the skin. Our panels also offer infrared light as well, which is not visible to the eye, but really helps to promote that internal healing. So, you know, even when it comes to like muscle and tissue repair, which is really great. So there's really a benefit for really anyone that comes through our doors when it comes to red light therapy, whether if you're just wanting, you know, superficial cosmetic benefits from it, or if you're an athlete or someone that's very active, it also helps to accelerate the healing process on a cellular level. So it's really great when paired, especially with our whole body cryotherapy, which Kyle had mentioned a ton of the benefits earlier in the last segment.
Yeah, that's amazing. I like how you pointed out as well, like it can be the, you know, everyday person like us who just wants to maximize their health, or maybe we're recovering from a minor injury, or it could even be the athletes. And I do feel like, when it comes to these biohacking modalities, there is a bit of a stigma still that you have to be an athlete, or you have to, you know, be a certain level of physical fitness to even start to use it. But I feel like anybody.
could really benefit from red light therapy. Really, can, you know, we've had young athletes, so young kiddos come in and utilize the red light therapy. Even just a little bit of a personal story with me, I actually started using red light therapy with the company to help accelerate my postpartum recovery as well. So, even for those, you know, going through postpartum healing, or just wanting to just have an overall better state of health and wellness, it really is for everyone. And it's a very enjoyable and comfortable and convenient experience, which is nice.
And that's the thing that I really love about the different modalities and the different services that our company provides as a whole. And Kyle had mentioned in the last segment of how, you know, a mom was able to be in and out in under four minutes. That's the nice thing when it comes to services like these is the convenience of it. It's not super time consuming. Throughout all of our facilities, we have clients that come in and see us every day because of the convenience of it, which is really great.
Health and wellness doesn't have to be a big task. It doesn't have to be a tasking thing that we have to do all the time. It can be a very enjoyable experience. And that's the type of environment that we want to provide for all of our clients that come through.
our doors. I definitely find that too. And I think it's important to remember, it's the, like we said, the routine and the consistency, like I've come to your facility and I've spent less than 10 minutes just doing a quick little, you know, cryo treatment. And I've also spent an hour and a half and just had some self care and indulged and enjoyed all the different modalities. And both are great.
So it's, it doesn't have to be all or nothing. And I love that you have so many different options to be able to offer, based on goals, timing, everything, basically.
Yeah. And I got a couple of points. I was, I was also just kind of came to my mind, but especially when, you know, regarding red light therapy, and, you know, the general gist of it too. I've always been, you know, big fan of it. Cause I remember, back in even middle school days, I loved learning about, you know, the mitochondria or what a lot of people call the powerhouse of the cell.
And so, when we're talking about, you know, how it's helping you recharge on that cellular level, that is a really huge component to it, as we're activating that powerhouse of the cell. And that's, what's really promoting all these recovery response responses. Secondarily too, it's been, you know, reported to help with a lot of good, you know, better sleep. But also I always laugh about this one, but so my mom at home has a red light therapy mat that she uses all the time for morning yoga and morning meditation. I'm a huge dog person.
I think, if a dog can read the energy in a room, it can, you know, kind of go towards some of those people that are those good standing people. But also, similarly, with some of these types of therapies, my dog will sit next to my mom while she does her morning yoga on the red light mat and wait to be wrapped in it following her session. And he absolutely loves it. So, even for you animal lovers out there, there have been a lot of good benefits that people have seen in regards to red light therapy, helping with their dogs that have, you know, achy joints or going through a little bit of seasonal depression. I actually have my own red light.
panel as well. It's nothing as fancy as everything that you guys have, but I do use it almost daily. And my, I have got a little Chihuahua. He loves it. And he actually just went through a very invasive dental surgery and the vet couldn't believe how fast he recovered.
And I do credit, I think part of that is based on the red light therapy as well. And yeah, animals, they gravitate towards what's healthy. They have a little better intuition than we do, or at least I think they listen to it better. sometimes. I've never, I've never met a dog.
that's lied. Very true. So what about, so we've talked about cryotherapy, red light therapy, both are my favorites. I'm so excited for my next session with you guys. What other modalities do you want to, when we were talking about biohacking, like you guys are the experts on so many cool different types of modalities and treatments, what else do you want to share?
Absolutely. So, you know, we,
we really focused on, you know, the whole body, cryotherapy, and, you know, the medical grade red light when we're talking about, you know, the head to toe, overall healing and health and wellness benefits. But the great thing about our facility is we also offer other services and modalities like percussive therapy, compression therapy. We also provide localized cryo as well that can really focus on any specific needs of our clients when they come through the doors. So we can be a part of someone's health and wellness. active, you know, activity routine as well.
So we have a lot of customization that we can provide for our clients, because health and wellness isn't always a one size fits all. And our focus as a company is really making sure that we're addressing the needs of everyone that comes through our doors. So those, you know, those service and modalities are pretty common within our facility as well. And then us as a company, as a whole, we have a really thorough vetting process when it comes to the services and modalities that we offer to our clients. And so, Kyle, at his facility in Scottsdale, they're actually, you know, trying out two new services, one being Avacent.
that really helps to improve circulation, which is a very common benefit for almost all of our services that we offer. And then we also, just as of yesterday, are starting to do demos and launching of our biocharger modality and service as well. For our clients to try before we roll it out to our franchise network.
Okay, I'm so excited. The biocharger, I have not had a chance to try that yet. Can you expand a little bit on what that is? This is a modality I have known nothing about.
I would love to. I'm on my fifth session now. So very, very similar to what we were just talking about in regards to red light therapy, right? So the biocharger is designed to really help you on more of that cellular level. It's a frequency and harmonics device.
So there's four natural frequencies that it's using. It's using the frequency harmonics. It's also has a PMF, you know, voltage electro field that's going out from it. And then it's also using red light therapy, along with the different photons and natural gases surrounding within the biocharger itself. So really, really cool.
We're very excited because it actually has upwards of 1500 different recipes that they call them. So when we get people that actually are signing up and making, you know, getting on the biocharger package, we can not only, you know, have them there to do services, but we can really customize. And that ties back into what we've all been talking about, exactly what's going on with them. So we can really, you know, fine tune that and search up these different recipes that's going to benefit them the most. And then the last thing that I really love about the biocharger is promoting a lot of what you know, we've been lacking as a society, I think.
And that's just that socialization aspect. So the biocharger definitely can fit, I think it's about six to eight people, you have to be within the six foot radius around the machine to really get those benefits. But we're very thrilled to be promoting it in that aspect, where you can come in with your friends and family members. And you can hang around this, you know, for 25 to 30 minute session, you can heal together, you can set the phones away, we can have the phones within that six foot space. So I think that's always good.
So yeah, I'm getting pretty excited about it. We're hoping to get some creative stuff that we can string up around it. that's emphasizing more of those social gatherings and, and healing as a whole. But yeah, if you look into, you know, the ability to heal through frequencies and harmonics, there's a lot of really powerful stuff that's been out there for centuries, ages. So it's just continuing to, you know, fine tune, I guess, stuff that's already been there, available to us.
But you know, how do we ground ourselves and continue to, you know, move forward and progress. And we definitely think the biocharger is one of them. And then I, you know, I'm a huge fan of the Avacyn. I know you liked it when you come in, Jolene, but really think there's something there with that. Had it for about five or six months now.
Probably one of my top, you know, three favorite services. And it's very relaxing. It's a lot different than, you know, some of the other services that are, I guess, more tangible of a feel. And this one's very soothing. But definitely, having that mix within, you know, the harmony of.
what we're doing is, is key. And it's nice to be able to choose a modality based on how you're feeling. Like. sometimes, as much as I love the cryotherapy, I'm just not in the mood, you know, I could do the Avacyn and it feels like a warm hand massage. I can lay with my compression therapy and just, just relax.
And I think that's where the intuition comes into. you have so many different choices. And people can come and just say like what they're actually in the mood for.
as well and what their body's asking for. Exactly. I mean, I'm always asking people what their day is going to be looking like, you know, following their session there. For instance, if you were going to a intense or heavy workout right after our facility, I'd probably recommend you do stuff that's not going to, you know, promote more of that relaxed state. And let's do some other stuff that's going to help with that energy and better function, for, you know, the said workout or.
whatever activity you have planned.
And so, essentially, as a company as a whole, our goal is to put your body into a natural state of healing. So all of our services really just help to jumpstart the body's natural healing process. versus putting something, you know, foreign into your body or use of medication. We're really just creating that, that internal jumpstart to your body's own natural healing processes. I love that.
And I know, Christina, one of your.
expertise areas as well is so. we're all about natural health. And also we can use natural methods to even in the beauty realm as well. And I know a lot of these treatments are, you know, I always feel if, for me anyways, if I feel good, I generally look better. So I go based on my energy and how I'm feeling.
I'm going to reflect that in my state of health. But you actually have treatments as well that are beauty specific. Is that correct? That is correct. And just like the.
other services, Jolene, that we offer within our facility, these are also non-invasive, holistic beauty services as well. So we use technology that uses thermodynamics. So combinations of both heat, cold, and vibration, to help to address some cosmetic needs that everyone, you know, has. So whether, if it's, you know, reducing fat or skin tightening, you know, improving, you know, circulation of the skin and collagen and elastin health. Those are services that we also provide as well, that really complement and really work better when combined with our health and wellness services as well.
So we have our contouring services that we offer on site, that are a part of our beauty and aesthetic mix. And, like I said, non-invasive, like the rest of our services that we offer within the facility. But, Jolene, we notice that we see the best results when it comes to our aesthetic services, when we're combining them with our health and wellness services. Because we're constantly putting our body in a state of healing and repair, and even some additional benefits like naturally detoxing the body. A lot of our health and wellness services help to improve lymphatic health.
And, like you had just mentioned, you know, when you feel good, you look good, it's just a natural chain reaction that come with these services. And they're nice and progressive and require no downtime. Because I know myself, especially when I was in the center constantly, and I'm also a mother as well, sometimes I don't have time for downtime. So, just like we have that convenience when it comes to our health and wellness services, we also have that convenience with our aesthetic services as well. Where the average treatment time is between, you know, 20 to 45 minutes, which is really great.
With no downtime, like I had mentioned, so you can go on about your day afterwards. And that's the convenience that our clients really, really love, with the aesthetic side of what we do. And the fact that we include the health and wellness services into all of our aesthetic packages as well.
I just love how your center has such a holistic and overall approach to wellness, you know, from beauty, from the inside out, and then also dealing with, you know, any little, and any, it's almost like any health goal that somebody has, I think you guys have something that will be helpful to help the person reach the next level. And we are coming up on time. We have a couple minutes left, but gosh, our conversation, I mean, I could just talk to you guys for hours. I love this. But do you, do both of you maybe have just a quick last?
thought to share with our listeners?
Yeah, my big emphasis would just be circling back to, you know, that routine is key and anyone's journey can start at any time. So I definitely try to, you know, help people, stay encouraged and don't think that, you know, if you've been neglecting some of it, that it's too late to start, because that's never really the case. And then also, tying into what you had mentioned, you know, we do have a lot of really cool features that can help with very, very good amount of people. But, for instance, we've always been very focused on helping know people in the community that we can, you know, recommend you to, we know that there's certain aspects that, you know, others might help with better.
And we've continued to have those available to others. And just once again, ties back into building, you know, the community around the business that we have at that certain city. And that's what it's all about, you know, because we can understand and be aware if there's certain issues that might be a little bit beyond our limitations. And then that's when we'd recommend to have, you know, a conjunction of therapies where we are still involved, but you know, you probably should be also upkeeping with somebody else as well. So we can really make that good progress, because that's what it's all about.
I love that. I love that community aspect.
And what about you, Christina? One of the things that I really like to say when it comes to health and wellness is that it can be an enjoyable experience. And it can be, you know, there's really no wrong or right time to make your health and wellness a priority. There's no wrong time to do it. You don't have to, you know, something bad doesn't have to happen.
An injury doesn't have to occur in order to make that a priority within your life. And it can be an enjoyable experience. And I think that that's one of the things that I've really enjoyed about our company as a whole is we've been able to not only educate our clients on the services that can really benefit them the most, but that we can make it an enjoyable experience that makes them want to be consistent and just improves overall, you know, health, wellness, and their lifestyle as well. The quality of life is really what we try to focus on as a company and providing that convenience.
as well as top-level service. I love this. And it's both of you are basically saying as well, it's, you know, today's the day to start. If you want to up-level your health, it's never too late. Don't wait for something to happen.
It's just now's the time. Well, thank you two, so much for joining me. I got so much out of this conversation and you have re-inspired me to start taking better control of my health, visiting your center more often. So thank you both for sharing your expertise.
