Um, I think yesterday was an example of that with this horror in Nashville, and there's a reason for it. I'm going to get to first firsthand. Witness accounts are typically wrong because of simple biology, and the first media accounts are typically wrong because of politics.

So sometimes it's better to report what you know, but avoid any kind of a detailed analysis until everything's allowed to kind of settle for a moment. Unfortunately, we're talking about this again. Another deranged lunatic who somehow thought it was a solution to his problems. To shoot a bunch of kids in the face and in the back.

Now I always say to you, there's a rule here, and the rule is you should probably wait. The reason? Folks from experience in law enforcement, and if you were EMS or Fire or anything else, you know that. The firsthand accounts people give of a situation like the Nashville shooting or anything else, where you're immersing a human being, a victim, in a stressful situation. At a level 100, on a 1 to 100 scale, something, thankfully, in your life, you may be exposed to once or twice, hopefully never. Maximum stress. Folks, your body changes in that situation, that fight or flight response when it kicks in.

It's the reason, as a police officer, you're taught not to necessarily take the first word of someone who is an eyewitness to be gospel. They'll tell you, Oh, I was assaulted by a guy who was 6'5, 350 pounds, male, Hispanic, you find out later. They were 5'10, 180 pounds, and the person happened to be white or Asian or whatever.

Ladies and gentlemen, it happens all the time. It's human biology. When that fight or flight response kicks in. You have everything from your pupils to your ears, to your nose, to your skin, everything responds differently. So yesterday we reported on the story, it happened live while we were on the radio.

We were very careful about giving any detailed analysis. Why? Because it changed, you heard yesterday early on. It was a teenager and it was a 28-year-old, and it was, you know, but they didn't know the gender. Now we find out it's a woman.

The media accounts also are to be almost immediately discarded from largely the liberal media. Why? Because the liberal media is not interested in doing actual media stuff. As we saw yesterday, three kids, three adults, including the victim, all dead, brutally murdered, and the media is already looking for what fellas, not the story.

They're looking for a story now, I assure you, Joseph, if this was a white male who, God forbid, shot up a mosque, oh, that story would be all over the place. But that's not what happened. The horror doesn't bother them at all, or the bloodshed. A lot of these newscasts, which would have run with this thing because they felt it was a story they needed to tell. When they found out the story, found a story not convenient and sidelined the story to second and third in their nightly newscasts. You see, we don't do that here.

We cover the actual news and the story.

Calm down, I don't want to let my anger get in the way here. It's an important show, but folks, I have to be candid with you. I was furious yesterday, I was reading through the comments and I was very eager to add my input.

I decided against it, I tweeted out, put on True Social last night. Very simply that I'm going to be withholding detailed commentary until I have the details. But I wanted to make crystal clear that I'm reading the comments, what's going on on social media? And it's absolutely clear to me now, fellas, that we are dealing with pure, unadulterated evil.

Just read their comments.

Leftists, Well, you know, listen, it's a transgender person, and you know, those Republicans, they're istophobic, phobophobes, so, you know, I understand. Oh, really, you understand, you understand. Taking a high-powered rifle and sticking it in a kid's face and shooting them in the face or the back.

You understand that, you know what's crazy, you probably do, that's the crazy part.

You lunatic that you probably do understand that that's why you need to get away from these sociopaths. And then Rand Paul's staffer, another Rand Paul's staffer.

Rand Paul's been the subject of just brutal attacks now. Rand Paul's staffer was almost stabbed to death last night in D..C. Oh, read the liberal comments on that. They're just glorious.

You're staring at evil folks.

Demonic, evil. And I'm telling you, people have every right to protest, they have God-given rights. But when that violence comes your way, this sociopathic murderer yesterday in this school, stares you in the face. You better be ready to deal with it.

These people are not interested in politics, they're interested in your destruction.

Unbelievably, they're already excusing the murder of children in order to blame the GOP. It is evil in its purest form. I'm going to show you some video for those listening on audio only. I'll make sure I narrate it, but the video's long.

It's over two minutes. You can see the alleged attacker in this case. Audrey Hale pulls up in what looks to be a gray minivan, shoots through the doors you can see in this footage here, starts walking through the school rather calmly. You see this in a lot of these sociopaths, they have no emotional attachment to what's going on.

If they did, they wouldn't shoot a 9-year-old in the face or kill them, right? Calmly walking through the school. I'm telling you, for those of you out there who are going to have your right to defend yourself and your family attacked now. Because that's what the demonic, sick people will do. They'll make this transgender murderer's case about you and taking away your rights. You better be ready to deal with that.

If your life's on the line, you better be ready to deal with that. Ladies and gentlemen, you better be ready to do what law enforcement's been trained to do and to neutralize that person who's going to put that gun in your face and ready to do damage to you? Let me give you a tip from someone who had unfortunately lived this lifestyle for a very long time, folks. Wherever you are, it'll take you no more than a minute to rehearse in your brain what you're going to do.

When you walk into a restaurant, when you walk into a church, just glance around. It will take you less than 60 seconds, probably less than 10. See where the exits are. Why your first impulse? Listen to me, please.

Your first impulse when the stress level goes to 100, God forbid, an attacker were to break into your church or your school restaurant you're in wherever it is. Your first impulse is going to be to try to escape or take cover, and if you do escape, you're going to escape. The door you came in. Here's the irony, even if there's another door you didn't come in right next to you.

The evidence is everywhere. People's brains go right to where they came in. There's usually a door somewhere else in a restaurant, there's always one in the kitchen at the back, almost nobody uses that except the staff.

Why? Because they don't know it's there, and they came in through the front. Do the same thing at church, rehearse in your brain. If you are exercising your Second Amendment God-given right to defend yourself and your family, say to yourself, What are you going to do?

Are you going to push your family down and engage, or are you going to escape? If a door is right next to you, you may choose to escape first. If you're by yourself, you may choose to engage. How are you going to engage?

Walk it through in your brain, rehearse this, be prepared, don't be a sheep, be a sheepdog.

Do not be a sheep for these people because, sadly, you will see more of this.

Communal ties in our society are fraying, people are becoming atomized, individuals only with no attachment to anything more important than themselves. Which is the greatest irony of collectivism, isn't it that the whole idea of socialism and collectivism was that you would be part of a larger whole? As socialism and collectivism push nothing more than atomized individuals? Only. Isn't that the most tragic irony of all of this?

People have no attachment to anything other than themselves. You will see more of this. And I applaud the heroic Nashville Police officers who did what they were supposed to do and neutralized this target as soon as they showed up on the scene. That is what you're supposed to do now. There was no perimeter.

They went in and they did what they needed to do. You may have to do that, too one day, and you, damn well, better be prepared.

There was a press conference afterwards. Nashville Police Chief where you can tell they're uncomfortable talking about Audrey Hale being transgender. Why they're uncomfortable about this, I have no idea. The person's alleged to have just murdered children and adults. Take a listen. Our investigations tell us that she was a former student at the school.

I don't know what grade she's attended or grades, but we do firmly believe she was a student there.

You see, here's the problem, here's the problem, guys. They mistake us for the left, where some 30-year-old white guy brutally murders people, and next thing, you know, every white guy. Because they go right to race. Essentialism is somehow a white supremacist. See, they mistake them for us.

See, we live in the world of reason, not the world of stupidity and identity politics. Here's the second part of that. This is important. Police chief notes here that this was a targeted attack. Why is it important?

Ladies and gentlemen, Because targeted violence, assassinations of political figures, in other words, someone wants to kill that person right there. targeted violence, I want to attack that school right there, has far different characteristics than random violence.

Person's walking down the street and decides to carjack someone because they see an opportunity. Those characteristics should be red flags, they give off little signs that you can see targeted violence.

Don't take my word for it. Here's the police chief saying Yes, this was a targeted attack. Take a listen. Is there any reason to believe that? How she identifies?

I know Nashville, that's his own words. This was a targeted attack. Now, unlike the liberal media goons looking for a story rather than the story, the story here is a horrible one. And we're going to do our best to try to take something from this to prevent and mitigate some of these measures in the future.

It's called averting Targeted school violence. Now, why would the Secret Service, where I used to work, be involved in studying school violence? Because ladies and gentlemen, they found this really odd thing that targeted violence towards political figures. In other words, I want to assassinate that guy, that the killers there and the assassins and potential assassins demonstrated some of the same characteristics as people who shoot up schools. And when you know what those characteristics are, you can intervene.

Now there are a number of key findings and implications. I don't have time to go through all of them. You can read the report. But the most important, I would argue to you strongly, for someone with experience in this space, is that. Both presidential assassins and attackers that go to schools and murder and kill people, told someone.

You can see at the end scroll down to the end. One of their key findings here that students are best positioned to identify and report concerning behaviors displayed by their classmates. Why? Because in the Secret Service study, communications made about the attack plot were most often observed by the plotter's friends, classmates and peers.

Folks, what I'm telling you is people involved in these types of attacks almost always tell someone, Well, Dan, that doesn't sound right. Why would they tell someone? Because there's a side of them I believe that wants to get caught. They want people to know the distress they're in.

And they want someone to stop them.

Unfortunately, that finding came true again. Now. These texts from the alleged perpetrator in the case. These texts happened relatively close to the incident. So would this have stopped the person? I don't know, but you'll see the text stream.

I'm just telling you, if this happens to you, call 911 immediately, immediately, do not wait, do not try to talk anyone out of it, do not wait.

So back to this, liberal media can't control themselves, folks, and they can't control themselves because a lack of self-control is a hallmark of liberalism. Your envy, your gluttony, your greed, your lust, none of that's to be controlled. They believe in free sex, taking other people's stuff.

She gets them all wrong. The facts of the case have not materialized, and at the point of this conversation, the bodies of these kids and adults were still in the location.

Now, as the White House spokesperson, not the Democrat spokesperson, she's paid by you. It's a good opportunity to come out and try to heal the nation and say, let's wait for this story to come out.

Our prayers are with the family that have to deal with the unimaginable obstacles ahead of having lost their loved ones. No, that's not because Karine Jean-Pierre has zero human dignity at all. Goes out and starts pitching again. Taking away your right to defend yourself against bloodthirsty murderers, because that's just who they are. Take a listen.

How many more children have to be murdered before Republicans in Congress will step up and act? To pass the assault weapons ban, to close loopholes in our background check system, or to require the safe storage of guns, we need to do something. Once again. The president calls on Congress to do something before another child is senselessly killed in a preventable act of gun violence.

They just don't care, they will prey on you. Just like the cold-blooded murderer in that video, walked through the hallways with that gun with a thousand-mile stare right there. They will shoot you dead like a dog. And Karine Jean-Pierre and the rest of these liberal lunatics would have you sit there defenseless, shot down like a dog.

She has no facts yet, she wants to put your life in danger and disarm you, although you've done nothing wrong.

She doesn't even know how many children were killed, none, and yet it's an opportunity for her because she has no human dignity at all. None isn't dignified enough for a moment to just shut up until you even know the story.

She doesn't even know how many victims here. Listen to yourself. We can't keep seeing what we saw today. Right now, we're hearing six kids, six elementary kids.

Dead three kids and three dogs, and she doesn't even know she has no idea.

They want to take that away from you because they want you to be victims. That's why the left hates the idea that you should be responsible for your own self-defense and that of your family. They hate that.

The Department of Justice did its own study, the Department of Justice, yes, did their own study on what the Democrats called the assault weapons ban. And they found, as you'll see on the screen right now in this report, impacts of the 1994 assault weapons ban.

That it's quietly has a lot to do with the GOP, the GOP did it. They have to wink and nod first, though, so here's the wink and the nod.

Check this out. The shooter has been identified as 28-year-old female. Audrey Hale said she's a former student of the school and confirmed that Audrey Hale was a identified herself as a transgender person. Uh, State of Tennessee earlier this month passed and the governor signed a bill that banned transgender medical care for minors. As well as a law that prohibited adult entertainment, including male and female impersonators. After a series of drag show controversies in that state, notice the framing folks.

Folks, did you catch it, Joe? did you catch it? They they. Tennessee passed a bill against transgender care care. You mean, cutting off of the genitals.

That's that sounds like the opposite of care. Notice the framing, you see how everything's in the framing. And they also, Joe, they banned, uh, adult entertainment.

Huh, taking your junk as a guy, dressing up as a woman and shaking it in a kid's face?

Notice how that's the topic here now, see, Terry Moran's not particularly bright. He's been caught in a number of different issues before because he's a moron.

Here's Joy Reid who this is what got him under Joe's skin Joy Reid, who's not even smart enough. Terry Moran's a lot brighter than Joy Reid. Not necessarily, uh, any less, uh uh, tactical in what he's doing.

Joy Reid's too dumb. Joy Reid's too stupid to cover her intent at all. She just straight up, uh, has to just go for it in this. And and notice how Joy Reid, the gold medal winner in our dopey media talking head Olympics for a reason, how Joy Reid, in any situation, always will make it worse.

Here's Joy, Reid. You have this in the state of Tennessee, which, you know, ironically, is the Scopes Monkey Trial State. Right? Where they used to have a law against teaching evolution in public high schools, in public schools. They now are racing to enact these First Amendment limiting laws to limit things like drag shows. You have rampant book banning. I think Tennessee might be the most aggressive book banning state, even more so than Florida.

And so they're essentially saying it's too dangerous to allow children to be exposed to a drag show. A drag Queen isn't as dangerous to children. These books are dangerous to children. But when it comes to guns, they're like, No, put more guns where children are, it is. It is an irony that's hard to get away from during this time of moral panic over books, history and drag shows.

Again, to call the woman a disgrace who hit a new low is irrelevant. It's again, you can sense why Joe felt the need to comment. I mean, it's just, it's just, it's gross, it's disgusting. It's just who Joy Reid is, it's just who she is.

So Tennessee, which tried to keep, I mean, it's trying to keep porn out of schools. Joy wants more of that, apparently wants to keep men from shaking their genitals in front of young kids who are in no position to process what's going on. Those are framed as bans and First Amendment violations, really.

You're not allowed to speak out if you're transgender. I was unaware of that. I was like, Joy can't point to me a single example where you'll be arrested for speaking about transgender issues. Now. Shaking your genitals in front of a kid who's not even even within the realm of the ability to figure out what's going on. Yes, I may get you, but that's got a name.

It's called flashing. Okay, porn in schools is not banning books, it's not. It's interesting. The same people like Joy Reid, who want to keep the Bible out of school and will ban it in a heartbeat, are talking about the books aren't banned.

You can find these books wherever you'd like. You just can't show kids pornography in schools. Of course, Joy's really, you know, she's dumb, and she is, ask anyone who works with joy, she's particularly stupid. But what's ironic is Joy was accused of writing a homophobic blog a while ago.

Joe, did you ever forget to the bottom of that? We asked you about that years ago? You have been on my back forever. I know, I know I cannot. No, I can't find it.

Yeah, I know it's weird. Joe's trying to find the perpetrator, and he's a good investigator. Woman's gross, that's who she is. New low doesn't mean anything.

Tennesseans, remember that Tennessee, remember that. Don't you ever forget that? No, that's who she is.

That's what she's accusing you of. Just be crystal clear if you are a forget about a conservative, a non-liberal Tennessean who wants porn out of your schools and don't want kids having junk shaked in their faces. Joy reads, pinning that thing on you or implying it with a winky, winky nod nod.

Possibly the dumbest comment of the day came from Jessica Tarloff at the Five.

It was Jessica again, with zero experience in security, zero experience with any of this stuff. Commenting about armed, armed police officers or security guards in schools, saying possibly one of the dumbest things you'll ever hear, take a listen to this. Republicans are incessantly talking about preserving our children's youth. This is a precious time in life. That's why we can't have certain books on their shelves, why we can't have Drag Queen Story out, whatever it is.

If you're telling me that, you don't think that having armed guards all over our preschools isn't robbing children of their youth. I don't know what to tell you. That is more traumatizing than any line that I have read in any book, more traumatizing than this. But it doesn't. It hasn't even been proven out that that is the solution to this. I don't.

Even again, I'm at a loss for words for the stupid here. So having an armed guard in school, with kids who understand that other school shootings have happened is more traumatizing than the threat of a school shooting at your school. Um, I can tell you I don't usually drag my kids into this. I'll say, Uh, my young child. There is armed security.

Uh, has never brought it up to me, one single time ever. She has been around firearms her entire life. When I was a secret service agent, uh, she wasn't, wasn't around when I was a police officer. And has never brought the topic up to me one time. But Jessica Tarloff, who has again has zero experience in this issue at all, has very little experience in anything for that matter, other than dopey liberal talking points. Uh, yeah, thinks that armed guards in schools are.

Your kids shouldn't be defended because she's got her delicate sensibilities hurt every time she sees a firearm. You make your own decisions with your kids. Eric Jess, we'll make ours, I promise you. We're not taking our security input from you.

But thanks for your input. We'll throw that right in the garbage can.

So what changed in our society, folks? Because people like this on the left aren't really interested in solving this problem at all. They're interested in taking away your right to defend yourself and you becoming the next victim. Believe me, they don't care one bit about solving this problem the minute you bring up to them things like that. Secret service study, the DOJ's own study on what the assault weapons ban did or didn't do. They'll call you a racist because they're not interested in the facts.

Well, we tried an assault weapons ban, and the DOJ said it didn't even work. That's why you should just ignore these people, ignore them.

So what changed? Guns aren't new, violence isn't new matter of fact. Society's, you know, Joe loves history. I mean, gosh, public executions.

Before we had civilized constitutional republics, they would draw and quarter people in public and bring kids. So violence isn't new. Violence has plagued the human heart since we were Homo sapiens, sapiens. So what happened? Well, there's some answers.

Why do we have adults and kids who?

If you have kids, this may not be the time for them. I have to be straight with you. This segment's gonna be a little rough, so just give me a three count there.

What does it take for some sociopath to stare down the barrel of a pistol or a rifle and to fire a round into a kid?

You understand the level of pure sociopathic evil you're talking about here.

What societal factors?

Have calcified in this society that have led kids to do this repeatedly. Folks, listen, forget that we don't do talking points on this show. I'm not a liberal media goon. This is a real problem.

And it seems to be happening a lot here.

But it's not the guns, guns have always been, it's not the violence.

Well, if you look at the data, you'll see some indicators. The Wall Street Journal, you may have heard about this poll, put out one of the most troubling polls you're ever gonna see. Now I know what you're gonna say, Dan, you're still long on America.

I am. We have been in the cultural pits before and we've turned it around. But I gotta tell you folks, if we're not hitting rock bottom, we're getting there soon. They put a poll out there about what we as Americans, what we value, what we find meaning in. You'd think it'd be family, religion, faith, God.

No, no, no. Here look at the results. Patriotism Back in 1998, 70 of people valued patriotism. What's it now?

38 people found in 1998, 62 found meaning in religion, 39 now. Basically, folks nearly cut in half people who valued having children an attachment to the world 59, down to 30%.

People who valued community involvement peaked out at 62, now down to 27%.

Yet people who value money went from 31 to 43%.

These aren't alarming data, they're terrifying data.

Now, unsurprising to anyone who's been following partisan politics, there is an enormous partisan divide. These numbers are far more grave amongst Democrats and independents than they are amongst Republicans, who preach as a bedrock value love of country. However, they're not great for Republicans either.

Folks, I want to ask you this, What did you expect here? What did you expect?

We're now combining meaningless lives. People who care about money over faith, patriotism, love of country. They have no attachment, keep in mind, to what this poll means to anything larger than themselves. Patriotism, an attachment to country, religion, an attachment to faith, God, children, an attachment to kids.

Community involvement, an attachment to your neighborhood, all gone. You have atomized individuals who exist only in this little cocoon with no attachment to anything else. If you have no attachment to anything else, ladies and gentlemen, you have no attachment. What's the old line?

When you have kids, the world has hostages. It's meant to be a joke, but no, there's something deeper there. When you have kids, Joe, you can acknowledge better than anyone, you know this.

The world is different to you. All of a sudden, you say to yourself what? Joe and I say all the time, Gosh, I probably shouldn't do that. We're all sinners and you know what?

If I did, how would my kids see it? You don't do that when you don't have kids. I'm not saying you don't have, you don't weigh consequences, but I'm telling you. When you see something through the eyes of your kids, it has a profound effect on your psyche and it changes you.

Am I going to embarrass my neighbors? Am I going to embarrass my church? You have no attachment to any of that, you have this meaningless life, there's no desire for you to do something bigger or to change the world.

Why, Joe? Because you don't care about it, it's only about you. Why would you care, be a doctor preacher?

Want to go into military, defend my country? Why would you want to do any of this? You don't care if it's not about the money, look at the poll.

They care about the money.

It's not money and kids, it's not money and the military.

It's not money and saving lives.

Combine this meaningless life with nonstop exposure to glorified, inconsequential violence. I'm not taking the easy out here. Video games did it, rap music did it. It's one factor in a lot of things.

The violent kids seek violent video games, or the violent video games make kids violent. Same thing with rap music and movies. The answer is nobody knows. violent movies have been around forever. Why now?

Ladies and gentlemen, However, there's no doubt that this is not about the existence of violence and entertainment that's been there forever. That's an easy out. Oh, we get a ban, we're not banning, stop the banning.

It's about making adult decisions. However, there is no doubt that bathing kids 24 hours a day, seven days a week 365 in violent content probably has an effect on them. Combine it with their meaningless lives, the lack of parents in homes. Not the case in this situation, however, the case in many where you don't have a fatherly influence in your life. Combine that with exposure to screens all day, not reality, bathing in the freaking screen, no human attachment whatsoever, none.

Bathing in violence and porn, and meaningless TikTok interactions, meaningless, meaningless, inconsequential, unemotional TikTok interactions. And you wonder why the person in front of you appears in the sights of a gun, of a maniac, and they can shoot them dead.

You're really wondering? It's amazing we don't have more of this now. The secret isn't to empower the United States government to fix this. Everything they touch, they burn and destroy.

The secret is a cultural revolution.

A reattachment to country and reestablishment of patriotism, Something matters bigger than you, a reestablishment to church and religion. That's your job.

Listen, folks, I am not your role model. Catholic. Okay, I understand that I'm not your role model at all. I'm a sinner like anyone else. But I made a decision a long time ago.

I know, Joe, you made this decision, too. That despite the Catholic Church's many failures, there are human beings there too. And I was bringing my kid back to church. And we make it as often as we can, which is a lot.

Because it matters. I made the decision to send my kid to a Catholic school where they were going to learn about things. More important than TikTok booty shaking videos, I let my kids know every night before I go to bed.

I say, Amelia, daddy's going to bed. She comes running out of her room in her pajamas. I give her a hug. I say, Say your prayers. Jesus loves you.

Government didn't tell me to do that. I'm not your role model, I'm not telling you how to be a dad, I'm just telling you what I do. My community matters, too.

You think I take up some big shot? Let me be my local Republican party here as a thing. They ask me to come out, give a speech, go out and do it. I need no pats on the back, not looking for anyone's awards.

It's just what you do. My daughter's school has a fundraising event, me and my wife show up, They have a daddy-daughter dance, we show up.

Why my community matters? It's not about me. Nobody in my neighborhood gives a damn that I'm on Fox News, not a damn.

They care about that. I'm the father to Amelia, that I show up at these things, let me do it.

You got to reattach yourself, folks, to something bigger.

Ignore Joy Reed, ignore Terry Moran, ignore Tarloff's advice. Take initiative, re-establish the role of country, faith, God in your life.

Have children, nurture them, kiss them at night, tell them you love them, give them a hug.

But let me leave the show today with this. Protect them, folks, you are dealing with pure evil, pure evil. I'm not stigmatizing any group of people or any political affiliation.

I'm telling you that the people out there in this radical far-left movement that self-identify, I don't need to stigmatize them, they stigmatize themselves. These are people who relish in the idea of physical pain, death, and destruction. Just read their comments.
