America Out Loud is the premier news network with a diverse array of talk shows that inform and inspire. A daily resource for smart people.
Welcome to the After Dark of the America. Out Loud Talk Radio Network. I am your host, Rob, and my co-host tonight is Heather Robinson of the New York Post. Heather, how are you?
I'm fine, Rob. How are you?
Doing good, Heather. You know, there has been so much taking place as of lately in the media around the world. We've spoken about this. We saw that Russia and China were flying cognitive planes together close to Alaska. We see Taiwan who are doing drills, military drills, out of fear or just in case China tried to invade.
There's just a lot that's taken place in this space of time where Joe Biden was forced out of office. We all saw his speech on last night, which was all of 15 minutes. I was surprised, Heather, that his speech was so short. I thought it would have been a lot longer and he would have given us more details as to why he decided not to run this election cycle in 2024.. Now, we all know the reason why, and we've been talking about it here on After Dark, but he gave us no indication as to why.
And we know that the White House press secretary, Jeanne Karine Pierre, went on The View of all places, went on The View to typically talk about it. She didn't give us any, you know, in-depth answers. And then the next day, she gave a White House briefing and still she didn't give us any insight as to why the man who was selected by millions of voters during the primary to run in the election of 2024, all at once decided that it was time to pass the torch. Now, maybe it was time to pass the torch to a younger generation, but I would submit that that torch should have been passed in 2023, before the primaries, before people had decided that we want you to run. And that was based upon the media telling us that he was the best person to run, that he was smart, he was intelligent, he was working on all cylinders, although we saw a different story.
But the mainstream media, the liberal media, decided to cover it up. Hence we have what we have now, a coup of sorts that took place in our nation's capital, right before our very eyes. But we were told, don't believe what you see. It's not happening. Up until this past Sunday, Joe was saying, I'm going to run, I'm going to run.
He and his campaign managers. And then, all at once, I am not running. And then he's hidden away. We don't see him. We don't hear from him.
And then we start getting these tippet responses that, oh, well, he's going to come out. He's going to talk. He's going to do X, Y, Z. And yes, he did come out last night. And he did speak.
And they put a lot of makeup on him to look as though he was tanned and he was all in good health. Now, folks, let's just think about this. He went to Delaware. He was not seen on a beach. The weather in Delaware, when I last checked, was cloudy, had an overcast.
So where did Joe's mysteriously, his mysterious tan come from? Does he have a tanning bed inside of his beach home? No. It was makeup. Again, they're deceiving the American people.
They told you that he was fine. He wasn't fine. They told you that he, all of his cognitive ability and his physical physicality, was all in good health. And we know that it wasn't. So now he's trying to fool us with, oh, I want to pass the torch.
It's time, because at my age, oh, so, now you want to talk about your age. Oh, yeah. They want to talk about his age now. So now they want to make an age issue out of Donald Trump running. Who, from all, from what we can see, he has all of his faculties.
But this is how the left operates. They've been lying to us. They will continue to lie. Now they're lying to us about Kamala. And they're saying she's a person who can do this when we know that the party wasn't sold on her.
At this moment, the former president, Barack Obama, is yet to endorse her. Now, of course, NBC has come out with a little article saying, oh, he's going to endorse her. He's just waiting. Waiting for what? You would think that if he's going to backstab Joe, force Joe out, that he would have given her a glowing endorsement to give her an extra edge in the race against Trump.
But they're not going to do that. But you know what they will do? They're going to play the race card. They're going to play the female card. Oh, you can't say this about her because that's racism.
Oh, you can't say that about her because she's a woman. And they're already saying that D.E.I. That's as akin to saying the N-word. I'm like, really? Well, it's the Democrats who push D.E.I., diversity and equity and inclusion, on all these corporations that are now disbanding it.
But they're saying, oh, you can't refer to her as a D.E.I. hire. That's racism. No, it isn't. You guys created it.
And now you want to flip the script. But we here on After Dark, we're not going to allow them to flip the script the same way. we're not going to allow them to flip the script and say that Benjamin Netanyahu, his visit here, when he went to the House and gave an exceptional speech and even called out the anti-Semites that are here and said that you guys, you're useful idiots to Iran, who's probably funding this propaganda. that's taken place. Heather, what are your thoughts?
Yes, yes, Rob. It's a big news week. I thought that the Biden speech, for selfish reasons, I was relieved it was so short, you know, in prep for our discussion. I knew I had to watch it. And I was thinking he'd ramble on and on.
But look, I mean, he. clearly something's wrong. I think, Rob, I think I don't mean it in a, you know, it's not a matter of ageism. There are plenty of people in their 80s who are sharp. He just isn't one of them.
You know, he's not a good 80,, as they say, is among the older folk, you know, that they sometimes say, you know, I'm a good 80, I'm a good 85, meaning I, you know, I have my faculties. I can still do most things. You know, I think he may have some sort of degenerative illness, maybe dementia, maybe Parkinson's. I don't know. But something's not as it should be.
And I think it's interesting that you said this was a coup. in a sense. I mean, it is striking to me that the kingpins of the Democratic Party did not invoke the 25th Amendment. If he is incompetent, that's what should be done. And he should be replaced with someone else for the remainder of his term.
But on the other hand, they know he isn't competent to run. And or they just don't want him to lose because they know he's going to lose. So it does seem to me that what they're doing is disingenuous. I mean, it's, on the one hand, they're not doing the right thing for the country, because we shouldn't have a commander in chief who is seriously compromised mentally. And it's, it's.
it's a frightening thing. And it makes me concerned that this would be the time, you know, I hesitate to even say it, but for America's enemies to strike, to be emboldened. I just wonder about where's the concern for the country, of course, beyond partisanship, to have a commander at the helm who is not competent to serve. That is a real hazard. So I thought he seemed very shaky.
He harped on the, you know, Republic, if you can keep it idea of Benjamin Franklin, you know, like Trump's this going to be this dictator, which we know is a distortion. We know Trump has already been president. That didn't happen. Nothing like that happened. If anything, Trump had a pretty light hand when it came to dealing with violent protests.
You know, no dictator worth his salt would let violent protests go on for six months, you know, with Americans dying. You know, I think it's obvious that that's not just an exaggeration, but a distortion and a fantasy that Trump's some kind of dictator. But that's what he was implying with this idea that. We're at this crossroads, and I think that the Democrats are going to harp on that and run with it. for the rest of this campaign.
It will be more. Trump is a racist, evil dictator going to threaten democracy. You know, that, and the abortion issue is all they've got, and they are going to push those hard.
You're right, they don't. As far as the rest, yeah, yeah. No, go ahead. Just. obviously it's a, it's, it's a travesty.
What those those I don't even call them protesters, vandals and thugs did at Union Station, such a beautiful station in Washington, D.C. And it's a metaphor, I have to say, for this pro Hamas group and for these, these extremist, radical Islamist terrorists themselves. What they know how to do is destroy. They destroy human life. They destroy beauty.
They tear down what others have created and built. They are very destructive. Really pathetic people, and I'm sad to see that, but, you know, I think Americans should see it. And I noted, as you did, that the mainstream network, nobody other than Fox reported it, that the pro Hamas demonstrators were desecrating Union Station, writing evil things about America, threatening, vandalizing. I mean, to me, I think Americans need to see this.
They need to know it. You know, one thing I have said before, I think a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. sometimes. People sort of half they don't. they get half the story.
They get one sided information. They get inflamed and they think they know about the Middle East conflict. I think, if you're not going to really, really study it, including the 5000 plus years of Jewish history in that land, and you're not going to understand the real democratic, diverse. Charitable, modern Israel and what it is, and you're not going to really have a balanced picture, all you really need to know, if you're not going to study that, then you should really just remember who cheered on 9-11 and look at the tactics of the pro-Palestinian mob. Look what they do in Israel.
Look what they do here in America, tearing down the American flag. All you know, if you're not going to really study it, all you really need to remember is who cheered on 9-11 as an American, to know whose side you should be on. And I think that, by the way, Netanyahu delivered a powerful speech to Congress, was very proud of him. We need clarity.
We need clarity. And I want to talk about that definitely in the second half, but I want to pick up on something that you said, because I don't want to forget about it. And that's just Biden's speech. You said that you were glad that it was short. And he's probably glad also, as well as the Democrat Party, because they probably live in fear that he could probably mess up.
So they had him on, I'm assuming, his medication. So he did what he needed to do. Of course, they all came out, they being the liberal media and Democrats, and said this was just like one of the best speeches ever. He was definitely a statesman. He definitely loves his country.
This is a person who has given like 50 something years to the country serving. And to me, for me, that was meaningless. Joe is the worst president on record. We cannot deny it and we cannot allow them to rewrite history. to say otherwise.
He failed to protect our borders. And to me, that is huge, because that is one of his obligations, his responsibility as a president, to protect our border. When he did his inauguration speech, he said that he was going to unite the country. He failed to do it. He caused more division.
Anyone who did not agree with his policy, he said that they weren't for democracy, that they were evil, that they weren't American. This was from Joe himself. So Joe is the worst president on record, next to Jimmy Carter. And history should record it accordingly. Because the man did nothing to bring this country together.
He did nothing to unify us. And he was in office all that time under a ruse, lying. And, as you mentioned, Heather, they weren't concerned about the country and they still weren't concerned about the country. I mean, we're in a very fragile state, changing powers. The person at the top doesn't know if it's morning or day.
And they're trying to tell us that he is this great person who dedicated his entire life to public service. Yes, he made a fortune of public service. We cannot forget that Joe Biden was broke, completely broke. He had to mortgage his home in Delaware, the two homes in Delaware. And then, once Hunter Biden started his pay to play and selling this fake art, that's when it started reeking in the money.
We can't forget about this.
And don't forget about 10% for the big guy.
10% for the big guy.
Allegedly with these foreign companies in other countries.
And we need to know about all this, as I said before, we need to know if our elected official is corrupt. And I think Nixon even said the same thing. We need to know this. And when you look at Joe Biden, the buck stops no further than him. He is corrupt.
Tony Bielanski, all this information that we have. But we had a Democrat Congress and a Democrat Senate that refused to look at it. They wanted to obfuscate. They wanted to look the other way. Because had they looked at it, Nancy Pelosi might have been drawn in as well.
Because how does she make her millions off the government dime? These are things that Democrats don't see. And they continue to vote for these people. Then they say, oh, when is it going to change? When is it going to change?
It will change when you stop voting for them. It will change when you hold them accountable. It will change when you stop saying, well, the country can't bear this. They'll rip the country apart. Well, they haven't ripped the country apart so far, with all the lies you're saying about Donald Trump.
Now, he almost lost his life in an assassination. And that probably would have brought us on the verge of ripping the country apart. But even with the attempted assassination, do we see people out in the streets tearing down buildings, burning up stuff, like they were doing the other day in D.C. at Union Station, putting graffiti on the bells,
going before the rotunda on the Hill and staging a sit-in? Who's holding them accountable? The Democrats like to clutch their pearls and say, oh, my God, Jan 6 was the worst day ever. What about that? We didn't see that on Jan 6..
We didn't see people going to the rotunda staging a sit-in. We didn't see people going to Union Square, Union Station, which is a main hub when you're going to D.C. by train and putting Hamas is coming, desecrating the replica of the Liberty Bell,
shouting guilty or genocide, Benjamin Netanyahu, putting worms and bugs at the hotel where he stayed. How did they get access to that? Now, let's think about this, folks. The Secret Service just failed to protect Trump. Now, at this hotel where a foreign leader was staying, these people had access to put bugs inside the hotel.
What was the Secret Service doing?
They have to go through and clear that space. No one is talking about that. Now, what if they had assassinated Benjamin Netanyahu? These are the things that the media does not call out. But here on After Dark, Robin, Andrew and my guest host, Heather Robinson of the New York Post, we're going to call it out.
We're going to talk about it, because this is dangerous when you have a leader who is ineffective, who's compromised both mentally and politically. It has to be called out. Folks, you're listening to After Dark on the America Out Loud talk radio network. We'll be back after this brief commercial break.

We're back for more discussion on Biden's coup, abdication, and, of course, Benjamin Netanyahu speaking before the House of Congress yesterday. As we said, he gave a rather riveting speech, and I thought when he called out the anti-Semites that are here, that are completely being used, more than likely by Iran, with this propaganda. And we did a show about this, Heather, a couple of months ago, saying that Hamas is winning the propaganda war. And it's just devastating when you see this taking place here in America, on our college campuses, and no one is calling it out. And now, fast forward, we have Kamala Harris, who's married to a Jewish man.
She is supposed to be the president of the Senate, was not at Congress yesterday when Benjamin Netanyahu gave his speech. And I think half of what I was reading, half of the Democrat congressmen weren't there. Rashida Tlaib was there with her placard saying genocide and guilty. I question her loyalty to the country. I question the area that she's representing.
And I will say it again, we do need to do a deep dive and investigation of her constituents that are in, I think it's Minnesota, Michigan. We need to do a deep dive, because I am very afraid that the people they have allowed into this country are going to that area without good intentions. I would say. a decade from now, we will start seeing bombs and people being blown up. We will start seeing a lot of terrorist activity coming from that area.
And it will seem as if, though, we're living overseas in Iran, in Israel, in Iraq, in Afghanistan, with these crazy individuals blowing up places. Mark my words, you heard it here first. And the reason why is because we have an incompetent FBI that refuses to go out and investigate. No, they will investigate Americans. If you don't agree with their policy, they will come and they will investigate you.
But as far as looking at what's happening there, and clearly that looks very suspect, they won't do it. And I, just, for the life of me, I'm like, what has happened to common sense, Heather? Go ahead.
Yeah, I mean, I think that it's two things. I mean, there's the one impulse, which I think is a good impulse, to welcome people as Americans, regardless of religion. I do think America has done a better job, frankly, than Europe, of assimilating our Muslim American people. And I think that that's why fewer of them are radicalized. There are plenty of Muslims here who are decent Americans and good people.
And I think that there's less segregation of them. And, you know, on the other hand, there's this, this bending over backwards, to refuse to, yeah, investigate, look at somebody,
have eyes on the mosques. You know, if there's a reason for suspicion, you know, I think it's a delicate balance, because, you know, we don't want to, I tend to think that, you know, what Europe does is Europe just lets everybody in and then winds up being afraid of them, and they're segregated. And the radicalism breeds on itself and gets worse and worse. And it's like they're at once more liberal about letting in anybody and everybody, but then they're, you know, they're more fearful. Whereas, you know, the attitude I'd like to see is don't be afraid to vet people.
Don't be afraid to lawfully stop people and inquire. You know, I think you're talking about, you know, whatever people you're talking about. You can't be afraid to do aggressive but lawful law enforcement, you know, whether we're talking about, you know, Muslim Americans, Caucasian Americans, Black Americans, Hispanic Americans, you know, lawful, non-abusive, but vigilant police work is important, not just for some Americans, but for all law-abiding Americans, for people within those communities. I think we get confused when we start, you know, acting like any kind of law enforcement or surveillance that's lawful, is harassing. You know, certain communities need to be handled with kid gloves and treated as if they're these untouchable, you know, babies who can't be offended.
You know, I mean, the reality is, no, there shouldn't be abuse or brutality, but we all have to be pulled over sometimes and we have to cooperate with the police. We all have to understand that, you know, if somebody is suspicious and doing something suspicious and making threats or whatever, you know, the FBI may monitor that and should be on top of it. We should all be cooperative, whether we're a mosque, a synagogue, or a church. You know, we don't live in a police state, but we live in a lawful society where there is law enforcement. And so forgive my wordiness, but what I'm trying to say is, I think it's a delicate balance, but I think that when America's agencies bend over backwards to not investigate something suspicious, to not stop someone because they're a certain color, maybe if they're doing something suspicious or they look like they could be out of place, I mean, that's bending over backwards to treat people differently in a way that really, you know, is not fair to anybody.
because, you know, it's a balance. And I think that, you know, you're right that after 9-11, it was like there was this sort of sudden idea that anybody who, there can be no aggressive policing of, you know, any kind of community that claims minority status. And that's just not, you know, I think we need to all be subject to equal scrutiny if we're doing something suspicious, if there's reason for law enforcement to be concerned. And, you know, I actually think America hasn't done a terrible job of that. I think that, you know, we've integrated people pretty well, but I think that's important.
And I think it's, you know, not, it's important not to, you know, make overly prejudicial judgments and, you know, overgeneralize about people. But I also think that vigilant law enforcement is important, as you know. So I agree with that.
I agree, not to make, you know,
inuendous accusations that aren't warranted. But at the same time, when you look out and you see what's happening in the country,
when you see the, as I mentioned, what was, what took place at Union Station in D.C., and I was reading that only 23 pro-Hamas individuals were arrested. And I would submit to you that more than likely, they will be released on their own recognizance, and then the charges will be dropped. We saw this during 2020, during the George Floyd riots. Charges were dropped. Kamala Harris even sent out tweets saying, support the legal funds for these individuals so that they can get legal representation.
This is Kamala Harris. Fast forward, when we saw what was happening on our college campuses with the anti-Semites. She looked the other way, almost supported them. And her daughter, her stepdaughter, her husband's daughter, who's a radical, supported this. They've been brainwashed.
And if Americans like this, if this is what you want, this is what you're going to get if you put her in office.
They kicked Joe out. She comes up. Then you have the Israeli prime minister coming here, and then she doesn't meet with them. Now her folks are sending out an email saying, oh, well, she's going to meet with them. She says she was busy right now with campaigning.
You would think that of all places, now that she has assumed she was the cohesionation of Kamala by the Democrat Party, you would think that she would have shown up. She would have been there. But she wasn't. Because she knew more than likely.
that these radicals were going to be in D.C. creating havoc. And if you haven't seen it, I would encourage you to all go on YouTube. They had their spray paint. They were vandalizing monuments, the Liberty Bell.
And they're going to get off scot-free, especially if they were here in New York. We know that. Alvin Brack, he, let go of the rioters that were on the college campus and said, well, we can't protest. We can't arrest them because we can't prosecute, because we don't know who was who. They had on masks.
Take off the mask. And you arrested someone.
But see, this is what you're going to get when you vote for Kamala Harris.
This is what we've gotten while Biden has been in office. And world leaders are looking and they're laughing because they know that America has fallen down from that perch. We're not, we're no longer that beacon on the hill. That light is going down every day. And something else you mentioned, Heather, that I wanted to cover, looking at my notes about, you know, who you said, who's looking after America's interest, the country's interest, you know, with all this craziness going on with Biden.
Again, folks, Biden is cognitively challenged. We don't know if it's dementia. We don't know if it's Parkinson. But we know that there is something that's not happening. that should be happening in Biden's head.
But we here on After Dark have been saying that the 25th Amendment should be invoked. And we were serious about it. But now, when we're looking at this and realizing that Kamala would step up, she's more dangerous than Biden. Because she doesn't know what she's doing. She doesn't have people around her that are going to lead and direct her.
I mean, maybe Barack Obama, who's yet to endorse her, will step in. He and Susan Rice.
We're in a very bad pickle, Heather. And people need to wake up and vote accordingly. Because these people don't mean the country any good. If you're going to let millions of illegals to flood through the border, let them come here and then give them rights, rights that American citizens should have but don't have. You're going to give them money, put them in hotel rooms, and then you're going to allow people, we don't know who they are, to riot, create havoc in different countries.
And then you're going to say, oh, you have a right to do it, and you're not going to arrest them.
And, like I said, the Secret Service, for Benjamin Netanyahu's hotel to be attacked with bugs and worms and maggots, and people are bragging about it. What happened to our country? What the heck is going on? Heather, this is crazy.
Yeah, it is. It is.
It's like we're walking up into a bizarre world.
Yeah. Yeah.
And we don't have anyone to stand up, as I've been saying,
a statesman and denounce it. You would think that Barack Obama by now would have come out and said, you know, what happened to former President Donald Trump is wrong. We need to bring back civility. We can't continue along this line because the world is looking at us, and we don't look good. I doubt seriously that he cares.
I think that he's probably somewhere in the basement rallying this on. I don't think he loved this country. I think that he liked what he has gotten out of this country. But as far as being a true statesman, to be concerned, he has people with all these grievances about the country, as opposed to going out and doing something. I don't think he could care less, Heather.
Well, maybe not. I mean, I did hear some of the Democrats, including Biden, say clearly that with regard to the attack on President Trump, we have to denounce all political violence. I mean, that should go without saying. that's the very least they could say. And they did say it.
But I understand what you're saying. Someone to really make more of a statement, a fuller statement that, you know, nobody seems to have the character to say. we need to look at ourselves also on both sides. We need to really ease this and think about what we want as a country, not just how the other side, tattle, tittle, blah, blah, blah. They're the bad ones.
We've heard a lot, a lot of this for decades now. It's those people on the other side. If they would just change, then the country could move forward. Very little to no self-reflection. It reminds me of, you know, a couple who are, you know, about to get divorced.
And, you know, I mean, sometimes good people get divorced, of course, you know, for a lot of reasons. But, you know, there's a certain type of person who just it's always the other person. It's always the other side. It's always they who are the wrong ones. And even if the other side's more wrong more of the time, you know, I think we all bear a certain responsibility to improve things and elevate, not just the dialogue, but the respect for democracy, for understanding that we don't always get our way, and that this involves compromise, and people are going to see things differently, and you can't recreate the world in your own image.
There's just not a lot of that. And for years, you know, I wrote about this theme of and not, you know, it was a hard thing to get published, because people say they don't like the divisions. But that's really, in a lot of ways, what sells as an opinion writer and a feature writer, particularly, I mean, this related more to when I was writing opinion.
People don't want to hear it come together. I mean, they say it, but there's a lot of energy in blaming the other side. And I would just love to see our country, of course, you know, what side I fall. More on, just love to see, you know, the other day, I was walking down the street and had a conversation with a homeless veteran on the street. And it broke my heart.
And it's true that there's so much that needs to be done. And we are such a, such a wealthy country. I mean, I know these problems are very difficult. They appear intractable, like homelessness and drug addiction and crime. But they all, they intersect with each other.
And I think if we could have a real comprehensive plan to treat mental illness better in this country, and addiction, so many of these other problems, such as gun violence, such as crime, such as poverty, I mean, would be start to lift people up and help them lift themselves up, as opposed to more, you know, maybe kind of worthwhile or not foreign wars. I mean, and bringing in the rest of the world full of people, we don't know who they are to just flood our streets. I'm not trying to demonize them. As Trump said, some of them are probably good people, but they're not our citizens. Why should they have priority over our own citizens?
Why are people, you know, the so-called humanitarians more concerned with these people who are not under threat of genocide? You know, they're not, there's no genocide in Mexico. I know times are hard and there's, there's hardship and suffering, but, you know, why are we, why must Americans, to be good Americans, be more concerned with helping and treating them first, ahead of our own citizens? When, you know, it doesn't make any sense. And I would just love to see a spirit of unity in addressing some of the people who sleep in the dust in the streets of this country, including veterans.
I would love to see President Trump unite whoever's a sincere humanitarian on the left, you know, around this, some kind of a comprehensive vision for uplifting all Americans first. And then, you know, let us see what we can do to help the truly, truly, you know, asylum seeking people, you know, vet them properly, you know, streamline these agencies so that they're not just managing mobs of people. They're really carefully and efficiently going through the cases to find out who is in danger of death if they go back, you know, a more muscular approach to really, to getting the asylum system to function the way it's supposed to, and not just be a free-for-all.

Again, I would encourage you to go there. Now, going back to our topic, our discussion, I want to talk a little bit about, again, Benjamin's speech that he gave here.
We know that he was coming a lot earlier this month, but then it was canceled due to some issues with Biden. He finally came, gave the speech, and, as I said, some of the Democrats weren't there, and the one who was there, Rashida Shalib, she was there in an activist-type role. We saw the chaos that pursued outside of the speech. We also saw folks who go into the Capitol Rotunda because they didn't want him here. They did not want his voice heard.
They did not want you to hear the truth that Hamas is a terrorist group. They have somehow managed to penetrate, to breach through our borders. I don't know why I'm saying somehow. We know how, because we have a secret service. that's lackluster.
Finally, Kim Jito resigned. She should have been fired. I think that Mayorka, Alejandra Mayorka, who was her boss, should be fired also, but we know that in the Biden administration, no one is fired, including Biden himself. I mean, it was a coup, a staged coup, and that's how he got out. So all this that you're hearing, as I said, in the first and second block, he was a great person.
Oh, we admire him. He served for his country. No, he did not. He was the worst president ever. He did nothing but break the country of all of its resources.
So, that being said, Heather, you wanted to share with us, you know, give us more insight of your thoughts on Benjamin's speech the other night. Go ahead.
Yes, I think he did a great, forceful job, and he made two important points about Israel's conduct of the Gaza War, Rob. These two big lies, the first being that Israel is committing a genocide and targeting Palestinian civilians for no reason, is a total lie. He explained very clearly how Israel is doing everything it can. They're dropping leaflets. They're trying to clear pathways for Palestinians to civilians to leave.
They are dealing with an enemy that purposely puts these people in hospitals and schools and fires from these locations. He explained that Hamas actually shoots and kills some of the civilians who are trying to get out of the war zone. One thing I wish he would have mentioned, and maybe it's because of delicate international relations, Egypt erected a wall to prevent the Palestinian civilians who wanted to flee the war zone from leaving. They've effectively blocked them in. So you never hear a word about that from the people who are so concerned with the Palestinians.
Egypt gets billions of American dollars every year. Why can't they let these people in? Israel is not intentionally targeting civilians. It's a lie, and it's the kind of lie that has been used for centuries to demonize Jews. We know this is a war that Hamas brutally started, and Israel is fighting it, but they're not in any way targeting civilians.
He also said this whole idea that Israel is deliberately starving these Palestinians is a lie. He said, if there are Palestinians in Gaza who aren't getting enough food, it's not because Israel is blocking it. It's because Hamas is stealing it. And he cited a figure, something like 40,000 aid trucks have gone in with food for these people, enough for every man, woman, and child in Gaza to have 3,000 calories a day. So I would challenge anyone to tell me, in the history of warfare, another example of a people brutally attacked who then poured enough food for every man, woman, and child who are their enemies so that they could be fed during the war.
It's basically like a massive social work program in the midst of a war, which I don't even think. America, with all our concern, you know, generally for trying to avoid hurting civilians. I don't even know that, I mean, America did that. You know, so these are lies. This is not about trying to kill Palestinian civilians.
And it's not about trying to kill anyone for no reason. It's about responding to a vicious, annihilationist attack and trying to decimate the body that did this so that they can't keep doing it. And I think he, you know, he had his facts and he was very clear. And I think people need to understand that. for Israel, he said, every civilian death is a tragedy.
For Hamas, it is a strategy.
Well, that's powerful. This is a strategy for Hamas. Heather, what do you think, I think a Jewish woman, how the Jewish community is receiving Kamala?
We questioned, we've had discussions about Biden and how I felt that he has just completely turned his back on the Jewish community here in the States, definitely in Israel. But do you think they will support her candidacy for the presidency in the Democrat Party? What are your thoughts on?
that? What are you hearing? Well, it's a good question, Rob. I have a, it's a good, good question. I haven't really done my usual informal polling and maybe it's time for me to do that.
And I, my instinct is that most of them probably will support, because, well, Jewish people, generally speaking, love, love to support, you know, our fellow minorities.
She's liberal and most Jews do still vote Democrat. She's very concerned with the abortion issue. A lot of Jewish women are concerned with this. I mean, there is a growing portion of Jewish voters, albeit a modestly growing portion, that realizes democratic leadership, such as Biden and Kamala, are not likely to be as supportive of Israel's self-defense. And we know Israel's in a very precarious position.
So for those of us who prioritize that, we will not be supporting her. I think it'll come down to, you know, maybe about the same proportion that supported Biden, because I would say it would be less, because I think a few Jews are waking up to the reality that the Democratic, the left of the Democratic party, does not have Israel's back. But I think that that Jews who prioritize abortion rights and, you know, wokeism as liberals, will support her. So, I mean, I would guess it would be like a 55-45 split for and against. But I know, I have heard some people say they're concerned about her level of experience to be leader of the free world.
You know, she was a prosecutor. She's certainly tough and smart, but, you know, she's very leftist. She really hasn't been in politics that much. And I think there's going to be some trepidation among the Jewish community. I would guess, you know, even though there should be more than among the rest of the population because of Israel, I would say there's probably going to be a little less, a little more support for her.
I mean, I don't know whether the fact that she's married to a Jewish man will influence people, maybe a little bit. So, you know, I mean, I think the fact that she did not attend Netanyahu's speech is an indicator that she's not got Israel's back, probably.
So, you know, that's where I, the way. I think, I think we need to prioritize. And if we are good citizens of America and we care first about our country's safety, including from Iran, we should not be supporting her, you know, regardless of these personal concerns about, you know, abortion, etc. But I don't, I think most Jewish people, especially Jewish women, probably will support her.
I was looking while you were talking, I saw an article that came across saying that she's already, Kamala, gotten off the gate, hemorrhaging on the Hispanic vote, but they're not keen on her. I know that for the Black vote, there is a push for them to identify with her being a Black woman, the oppressed Black woman. So we must support her, regardless of the fact that she has done absolutely nothing. Her record has been dismal, if anything. And she's just a, the regular prototype of a Democrat who makes all these promises and do nothing.
And then, once she's in office or she gets an office, she's, well, I can't do it because they won't let me. Who is they? Who won't let, I heard Biden say the other day that he could have done everything. He could have fixed the border had Trump not told Republicans not to support his bill. And then I came back and I'm like, okay, fine.
But you have executive privilege. You could have just said, okay, with my executive privilege, I'm going to fix the border problem the same way Trump did. But they like to blame and not take responsibility. And I think this is what Kamala would do the exact same thing. And I think that it's a very dangerous situation for the Jewish people to be in, seeing that she has just like turned her back on what's happening here in the country, around the world, to the Jewish community.
For her not to come out. Go ahead.
I'm sorry. Yeah. I don't think she spoke out or did anything about the Jewish students being.
harassed on campuses. Correct. And even her, her stepdaughter, I mean, who's a little radical. And I was shocked when I found out, I'm thinking, what Kool-Aid is she drinking? What fountain is she drinking from?
Yeah. That they can't see that this group wants to annihilate their people, just get rid of them completely. But I mean, it's crazy. Just completely. They are refusing to accept or see the bad that's taken place.
I can't get my arms around it. And this is where we are in this country. People have forgotten history. They don't know about it. They don't know what's actually taken place.
And, as you mentioned, during the first block about 9-11, the same people who were cheering on 9-11 saying, hooray, hooray, hooray. And look at what's happening now. People are completely, they've completely forgotten. And then those who haven't forgotten, they don't know about it, because it's not being taught in our schools. And it's by design.
Do we want to continue along those lines? I mean, this administration, these last three and a half years, Heather, have been filled with lies, lies, obfuscation, hiding the truth, creating this reality. that's fantasy just within three and a half years. And you look at how much our country has changed. It's scary.
It really is. And I don't think the country can survive another four more years with Democrats at the helm telling us that we're bad, we're no good. We're going to give everything that we have here to illegals. Let them come in. We don't care.
We're okay with it. We can't survive it, Heather. What do you say?
Well, I mean, I think we can probably survive it, but we're going to be in a slow decline as we started to be in.
And I think that it's not irreversible. I think that stronger leadership, a vision, you know, I dare I say, I think back to the leadership of Giuliani in New York City, Rob, and nobody, I don't think, has taken the butt of all of this hate more than he has. You know, I don't know every detail of what went on, but I know that he tried to, yeah, look, he's a prosecutor and he raised questions about the election. And for that, we know anybody who did. that has been just eviscerated by this establishment in this country.
And I don't know what all went on on the election and what didn't. I'm not making any claims of, you know, that it was stolen or it wasn't. All I know is it makes me suspicious that anyone who asked too many questions has been destroyed their reputation. But I mean, he really brought real leadership to New York City. And of course, we're talking about, you know, not as macro level as the whole country.
But remember, Rob, it was a time where all the ivory tower intellectuals and the Democrats and the activists insisted New York was as good as it was ever going to get. You know, so many kids being caught in the crossfire of gang violence. This is happening again today, worse than ever.
Streets filled with drugs, filled with mayhem. The city was unlivable. And, you know, mayor, after mayor, Koch and Dinkins, and they said, you know, nobody could govern New York. It couldn't be done. Well, you know what?
Somebody did it. Somebody turned it around. And I think our country can be turned around. Absolutely, I do. I think that, and I don't know, I mean, I think Trump's the best hope we've got.
If there was somebody else who was a strong and resilient leader, who also was silver tongued and eloquent and able to unite people through his humility, you know, that'd be great. I, you know, I don't know, I don't see that person. But I do see, you know, the toughness of Trump and really a kind of populist vision. He doesn't always express himself in a way that helps to bring people together. But I think that that's, you know, he does want to.
I think the other side doesn't make it easy either. They're so dug into negativity. But I think a positive vision, look, Reagan turned things around after Jimmy Carter's disastrous presidency. And, as I've, I think there are historic parallels here. That was a presidency of weakness, of malaise, of crazy inflation, gas prices, you know, out of control, war in the Middle East.
And Carter had basically given up. And Reagan said, it's morning in America. And at his inauguration day, Iran capitulated those hostages. He commanded respect. And he did turn things around.
So I think it can be done. Yes, I do. And I think I think Trump's our best hope at this point.
But I, you know, I also think that it's going to take people waking up to our biases. Yes, I'm trying to be constructive. Yes.
I agree. Well, folks, we're all out of time. Hope you enjoyed the show today. We'll be back for more. As we always say, God bless America.
God bless Israel. God bless our leaders. And we'll be back to do it again. Thank you and good night.
